Divine Communion (Advanced Dur-An-Ki Ritual)
Ashipu ascend the ladder of heaven to commune with gods and seek covenants for power.  To most ashipu this is something of a simple business like transaction.  The ashipu agrees to do x service for the deity and they receive y benefit.  However, some ashipu develop a more personal relationship with the deities they interact with.  They become their agents on earth and have a deep connection to their patron.  An ashipu only ever forms this sort of relationship with one deity (this can be represented by the background Spirit Mentor).  These ashipu act as their deities agents.  They erect shrines to their deities and venerate them according to their methods.  Ashipu who develop this bond with a deity also practice this ritual.  By spending time at their temple, church, or altar to their deity they can commune directly with them and seek the answers of the heavens.

System: You contact your deity or a divine proxy and ask up to three questions that can be answered with a yes or no. You must ask your questions before the ritual ends. You receive a correct answer for each question.

Divine beings aren’t necessarily omniscient, so you might receive “unclear” as an answer if a question pertains to information that lies beyond the deity’s knowledge. In a case where a one-word answer could be misleading or contrary to the deity’s interests, the storyteller might offer a short phrase as an answer instead.  This ritual may only be used once a month.  This ritual takes 1 hour to perform and must be at the appropriate site to the deity they have bonded to.
