I Nicholas Lambaunas, Assistant Head Coordinator propose the following change to the administrative bylaws
The removal of Bylaw D. IV.
7. Coordinator Reports
1. All Coordinators must submit a report of their interactions and activities within and around the chronicles to the Executive Team. This report shall be submitted every six months, or more frequently in periods of high activity. This report should include at least the following information:
a. Coordinator and Position Held (along with email address).
b. Any significant changes to the Subcoordinator staff of the Coordinator.
c. Any significant changes of IC operatives (PC or NPC), or locations controlled by Coordinator.
d. List of chronicles that the Coordinators have had significant and direct work with.
e. Any other information the reporter feels is relevant.
2. Failure to report within a term, at the HC's discretion, can result in a Council vote to remove the Coordinator from office.
It is our opinion that this is unnecessary busywork for the Coordinators, and an unnecessary amount of micromanagement for the Exec Team to deal with.
Thank you,
Nicholas Lambaunas
Assistant Head Coordinator 1

Part of the position as a Coord is this report which shouldn't be a surprise to any applicants. On the other hand, the nature of these reports aren't clear. FCC would support the revision of this bylaw to detail what should be included in a report (to minimize the amount of time required, etc) but does not support its complete removal. |

Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | For | I am amenable to discussing any reports or such that would be useful, but all parties involved in these reports - both those that write them and those that receive them - agree that nothing of value comes from these. |

Allentown, PA - USA, Steel Valley by Night | For | If it's not used and hasn't been used for anything in almost a decade, it's a waste of our coordinators' time. We'd rather see their time spent coordinating genre, responding to the needs of our chronicles and providing us with a better gaming experience. |

Cincinnati, OH - USA, Shadows of Cincinnati | Abstain | I support removing unneeded and unused parts of the Bylaws, but there should be some oversight of the Coords without revealing private information. This proposal would have been better received if the Coords would have proposed modifying the Bylaw into something useful instead of removing it. |

St. Augustine, FL - USA, On Haunted Ground | For | With the advent of the open communications on the Coordinator list, as well as more accountability through the disciplinary process and Code of Conduct for the Coord, Council, and ST lists... Exec already has a great amount of oversight. A formal report isn't needed. |
Rohnert Park, CA - USA, Shadows Crossing | For | |
Ann Arbor, MI - USA, Tower of Broken Glass | Against | While the Exec team is the only group that sees these reports, we feel that coordinator reports are needed for archive sake. If a coordinator reports timely on their activities, much like chronicles do, there is a record that can be used in the future if needed in case of any number of issues. |
