The Appointment of a Hunter Coordinator

Currently there isn't a Coordinator to help games with the Hunter Genre. The Imbued play an important role as atagonists for our various genres.
Recently a Hunter.net yahoo group had been created to allow games to share hunter plots and hunter discussions.
I feel the Organization would be best served if an Appointed Coordinator was assinged to this Genre
Change Bylaw 2A from:
2) Appointed Coordinator Positions
A) The following Coordinator positions shall be appointed by, and report to, the Head Coordinator and Assistant Head Coordinators as needed until such time as the Council feels the genre requires an elected Coordinator position:
i) Wraith
ii) Changeling
iii) Kuei-jin
iv) Mage

St. Louis, MO - USA, Shadows of St. Louis | Against | The Org doesn't have enough Hunter activity to support a Hunter Coord. Although there may be a myriad of NPCs out there, there'd really be on PCs under this authority. Perhaps a SubCoord or something would be better? As far as a Packet is concerned or an OWbN-wide Hunter.net as well as something else for SoL and/or other Generic Hunters, you don't need a Coord for that. |

Saint Paul, MN - USA, Obsidian Towers | Abstain
Sheboygan, WI - USA, Blood on the Lake | Against | My toy soldiers say no. |
La Crosse, WI - USA, The Rivers Edge | Against | There are not enough hunters out there to justify a Coord level position. Heck, the person playing the Coord should be a PC just to bring the numbers up. |
Iowa City, IA - USA, Fields of Rage | Against | If we had Hunter PCs, or even a Hunter game, maybe. Lets get a packet first, then worry about the need for a full fledged Coord to handle Hunter issues. |
Cape Cod, MA - USA, Rage Across the Cape | For | Hunter Packet is a good idea, the coord position can make sure it happens. |
Berkeley, CA - USA, Wasting the Dawn | Against | No Hunter games in the Org. |
Stockton, CA - USA, Stockton by Night | Against
Cedar Rapids, IA - USA, Five Nights | Against | I had a discussion with someone about a Hunter LARP once. STs would just move about a fairly large area, dropping item cards for weapons and ammo at predetermined spots on predetermined intervals, which the players could pick up and use on the various monsters that just pop up. But I can play Doom at home. I just don't see the need for a full coord. |
Sacramento, CA - USA, Sacramento By Night | Against | I haven't heard of a Hunter game and establishing a coord to work out a network of antagonist NPC's is not a great idea. They SHOULD be disorganized. Leave the Imbued in the hands of the ST's. As soon as we get a Hunter Coord, we'll have binding Hunter Genre, which will make ALL of our vampire lives much more miserable. Say ''no'' to Antagonist Coords! |
Duluth, MN - USA, Thicker than Blood | Against
Philadelphia, PA - USA, Nusquam | Against | Seems like an unnecessary change that will just create more red tape when STs want to utilize hunters as background NPCs to further plot. |
Chicago, IL - USA, Dark Requiem | Against | I don't see a need. |
Fredericksburg, VA - USA, Caine's Chosen: Liberty in Death | For | There is just as much reason to have a hunter coord as a mage or wraith coord imo. |
Plainfield, IL - USA, Obsidian Shadows | Against | No need. |
Indianapolis, IN - USA, Stars Never Rise | Against | I like the idea of a Hunter Coord, but only if it is an IMBUED Hunter Coord... |
Winona, MN - USA, Winona Dark Haven | Against
Auburn, CA - USA, Lux Tenebras | Against
San Francisco, CA - USA, Always Comes Evening | Against
Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | For | Current game vote. May change as game votes. |
Atlanta, GA - USA, Whispers of Atlanta | Against | I don't think it's necessary. |
Fargo, ND - USA, Within Shadow's Reach | Against
Dayton, OH - USA, Dying Embers | For
Cincinnati, OH - USA, Shadows of Cincinnati | Against
Columbus, OH - USA, Columbus in Darkness | Against | Until clarification is added making this solely an ''Imbued'' Coordinator, and not a generic Hunter Coord. |
Gary, IN - USA, Shattered Souls | For | Maybe we can start seeing some global Society of Leopold plot. |
Washington, DC - USA, Shadows on the Mall | Against
Phoenix, AZ - USA, Secundus Surrectum | Against
Amador, CA - USA, River of Shadows | Against | Um. no. Plot doesn't need a coordinator. It needs ST's who read source material and have narrators run responsible chron-dependant stories. Packet is a good idea. Maybe then enough people could make hunter characters that work with individual chronicles. Then, like the Anarch PC's...they may someday require their own Coord. |
Kenosha, WI - USA, Memento Mori | Against | Hunters are NPC Antagonists. We don't need a Coordinator for them. |
Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | Against
New Orleans, LA - USA, Long Night | Against
Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | Against
St. Augustine, FL - USA, On Haunted Ground | Against | Plot Devices do not need a Coord, nor do we need a Mortal coord...an influence Coord....a backgrounds Coord..feeding Coords etc. |
Annapolis, MD - USA, Vitae Aeternus | Against
Edwardsville, IL - USA, Caught in Eternal Twilight | Against | Hunterz in ur Coordz, Stealin' ur Chron Sov... |
Baltimore, MD - USA, Dark Harbor | Against
AHC 1 | Against | Hunters are plot devices, not player characters. I see this as something that goes bump in the night at the will of a storyteller's discretion and chronicle sovreignty. A Hunter packet would be nice to guide STs on what options they could have to keep genre cohesive, but I do not think that a long-term Coordinator is necessary. Jenn Bahrs, AHC |
AHC 2 | Abstain | I'm not really excited about it. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Abstain | I'm not against the idea, but I don't see the need. If a time comes when we do have a need, then by all means go for it. In the meantime, appoint someone to write a packet instead. |

Reclamation | Against | I do not see a need, at this time, for this position. If chronicles were more interested in co-ordinating Hunters, I would be more apt to support this. |
