[AUTOPASS] [BYLAW REVISION] BNS Rules Codified

THIS PROPOSAL HAS THE POTENTIAL TO AUTOPASS

I, Chase Jelliffe, as Assistant Head Coordinator, hereby propose the addition of the following to the Character Bylaws:

Add Bylaw 10.e.xii:

12. By Night Studios (BNS) Content – PC: Disallowed – NPC: Disallowed – Coordinator: Varies

    1. Exceptions are as follows:

       1. A Chronicle uses BNS rules instead of Revised Edition

          1. Must use all the rules of BNS: XP cost, Merits, Disciplines, etc, but still follow the rules and approval methods of OWbN. BNS restrictions such as the cost of a merit of rarity (such as Lasombra Antitribu requiring a 4 point Merit) must be followed.

          2. If content is allowed by BNS, but not OWbN, it is Disallowed on character sheets.

          3. If content isn’t allowed by BNS, but is in OWbN, it is disallowed on character sheets.

          4. Characters in these games may have separate sheets following Revised Edition rules for travel.

       2. Content is further regulated in the bylaws by a Coordinator’s office.

Frequent concerns raised about characters buying BNS Merits without conversion, which has led to Coordinators being forced to regulate them when it was never intended for the mechanics to be mixed.
