I, Scott Logan, as Mummy Coordinator, hereby propose this Mummy Magic Packet according to Administrative Bylaw 12.A.i and 12.A.ii: 12. OWBN Packets A. Definition i. OWBN Packets are documents drafted by the Coordinators of One World by Night and passed by One World by Night Council. ii. OWBN Packets are binding documents for use in the entirety of One World by Night. These Packets represent clarification, changes, and direction of a particular genre or game line they are created for as overseen by the By the Office of the Coordinator that created them. Reasoning: Mummy PC's are a growing part of the organization and need some formalized rules presented to both balance them against other splats in the World of Darkness MET systems and to make them accessible to players and storytellers who cannot readily afford the books for these creatures. This packet will provide a baseline of rules for the magic of the Amenti, called "Hekau" for chronicles to use as reference for PC's in their games. This is the second of two packets which outlines the genre and mechanics for the Amenti, the Egyptian mummies of the World of Darkness. As these are the most common mummies canonically, the packet does not provide support for the other groups. Wu T'ian and Teomallki will be given their own resources later on if player interest supports the need.
