THIS PROPOSAL HAS THE POTENTIAL TO AUTOPASS

I, Chase Jelliffe, as Assistant Head Coordinator, hereby propose the following changes to the Administrative Bylaws:

Bylaw 6.B.i. Before:

  1. Issuing a OWBN Disciplinary Action

    1. To initiate an OWBN Disciplinary Action a proposal must be submitted to Council proposing an action against a member, where a member is defined as an individual who participates in OWBN.

Bylaw 6.B.i. After:

  1. Issuing a OWBN Disciplinary Action

    1. To initiate an OWBN Disciplinary Action a proposal must be submitted to Council proposing an action against a member, where a member is defined as an individual who participates in OWBN. These proposals go immediately into discussion and do not require a second.

Reasoning: The bylaws are ambiguous on whether or not Disciplinary Action proposals require a second. The Executive Team had a poll and 75% of voters said that they shouldn’t.
