Custom Sabbat Ritae
Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.
Long ago, back when the radio was the main method of communication, Sabbat Priests wished to broaden their sermons in ways that did not necessitate physical presence. Their mere faith in Caine was so strong, this ritae naturally appeared as a result.
The Priest opens their broadcast the same way every time, using the hidden codes of the sabbat (such as red as the sun, black as the moon), or such quotes from the Book of Nod. As a result-- all Sabbat who listen into the radio can hear the message, and only those Initiated within the Sabbat will hear it coherently. As the modern day broadens, however, this ritae can now be used and communicated through modern technology, whether that be through podcasts or other internet-related methods.
It is rumored that a certain verbose and curious Harbinger of Skulls managed to revive this dead ritae with its sheer, unadulterated passion.
System: This ritae must be enacted by the user when recording the audio-- and must be spoken with intensity and passion. Mundane messages with dull intent will render the ritae moot. When utilized, this ritae ensures that any audio message (communicated through radio or internet) can only be understood by fully Initiated Members of the Sabbat. Any others attempting to tune in will simply hear static-- or not find it at all to begin with.
