Custom Sabbat Ritae
Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.
Montréal is a city built on bones—the bodies of forgotten settlers, lost sinners, and those left unburied beneath its streets. This ritae is a necromantic communion, performed in the Côte-des-Neiges Cemetery or the ruins of a mass grave.
A necromancer (Harbinger of Skulls, Tzimisce, or a Sabbat-trained Giovanni) calls forth the city’s restless dead, invoking them with a mixture of stolen bones, grave dirt, and vitae. The Sabbat drinks a mixture of blood and ashes, allowing the spirits to whisper their secrets into the minds of the faithful.
Some leave the ritual with forbidden knowledge. Others leave haunted, pursued by ghosts that now know their names.
System: All participants gain +1 Bonus Mental Trait for all Occult or Investigation challenges related to ghosts, necromancy, or the hidden history of Montréal. However, each participant must make a Simple Test (win or tie)—if they lose, a vengeful spirit clings to them for the next week, causing ominous whispers, night terrors, or minor supernatural misfortunes.
