Custom Sabbat Ritae

The ritea of the Sabbat was designed and crafted by particularly cruel members of Clan Tzimisce and the Toreador Antitribu. The Sabbat priest will capture several mortals and painfully crafts and alters them with the abilities of Vicissitude into an Altar of sorts.  The priest will recite quotes from the book of nod as if they were holy prayers will crafting and creating this blasphemous altar.  When completed the priest will dedicate their blood and some of their very being to the Altar.  After which the Altar remains a terrifying if not potent “holy” artifact for members of the sabbat to drawn forth both passion and blood.

System:  Crafting an Altar to Caine and performing this ritae costs the sabbat priest 1 permanent willpower.  Once created, the Altar may store a number of willpower points in it up to the priests Rituals Background or Ability (not both).  As long as any Sabbat member is within 10 feet of the Altar they may withdraw any number of blood traits or willpower traits that are stored in it up to the amount currently in the altar. Only those characters that are true Sabbat (i.e. Have the status Intiatied) may pray at the altar to draw out these temporary willpower traits.  Once withdrawn, the priest with the Altar of Caine Ritae may replenish the lost Willpower traits from the Altar in one of two ways: Priests who use the Altar in Ritae can expend any number of Temporary Willpower from themselves to fill the Altar while engaged in Ritae. Or, use the Torture ability on another to cause willpower loss that will drain dirtectly into the Altar from a victim laid upon the Altar.
