Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.

Those that seek to retain their Humanity are always in a constant struggle with the Beast, which attempts to destroy and kill. First contemplated by Cateline of Lutetia and Alveron of Canterbury, and later refined by Conservators of the Compass Academy, this ability combines the use of Presence to bear one's emotional expertise with the resilience of Fortitude to protect against the banes of vampiric existence. Utilizing one's social acumen to manipulate the Beast directly is not without risk, as it requires one to take a deep look in the mirror of their inner self and fully accept the flaws that hide there.
System: When challenged with a situation which requires a Conscience check to retain Humanity, a Self-Control check to prevent Frenzy, or a Courage check to prevent Rotschreck, the Conservator may expend a Social trait for an additional retest. Successful use of this ability is felt deeply. When used to suppress the Beast, powers which call upon the Beast, such as Drawing out the Beast, may not be used for the remainder of the scene. When used to retain Humanity, the user sheds tears of blood, an effect which is obvious but does not consume any blood points.
