Custom Blood Magic: Ritual
Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.
Casting Time: Normal
Narrative: Once a greater degree of awareness and understanding has been achieved, the caster of this ritual is able to tap into the properties of the mirror and even begin to witness and see what it has seen. Mirrors do not forget, and in this way the caster can access that knowledge and use it to their benefit.
Mechanics: To use this ritual, the mirror or mirrored surface in question must have been affected by Mirrored Awareness within the last 24hrs by the same caster of Mirrored Awakening. The caster can only target one object, mirror, or surface at a time with each casting of this power, but there is no size limitation up to ST discretion. Successfully casting this ritual allows the caster to expend a mental trait for every 4 months of memories it wishes to access , up to a maximum of one year. The caster can access the mirror's memory of any use of the magic identified via Mirrored Awareness within that time frame. The memory allows the caster to see and hear, exactly as the mirror would have, what occured on either side of the mirror or any space in between. The caster would not be able to cast additional magic on the memory and can only experience audio and visual exactly as the object would have captured it.
