North East Event
North East Event
Event Description:
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far. The sciences, each straining in its own direction, have hitherto harmed us little; but some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the deadly light into the peace and safety of a new dark age."
- The Call of Cthullu by H.P. Lovecraft
Less than one year removed from a historic Hartford Conclave, the Courts of Connecticut will once again send an invitation to the Camarilla to gather in New England, hosted in Stamford, CT. Some who attended the grand Elysiums of the former colonies walked away being held in greater esteem among their peers, Clans, Societies, and Sects. Others walked away leaving their fangs on the table. Alliances were born around tables of discussions and games of chance, and animosity was found at clinking the bottom of empty, blood-stained tumblers. Passions of Fire and eyes of Ice burned and chilled equally.
What awaits at the end of Summer? As our world pulls away from the burning bane of Kindred shining bright while they slumber? The sun that heats the day is the enemy we know, but what of the enemy we don't? We know what rises at dawn.
What rises when the light dies?
Come celebrate the 128th birthday of New England born H.P. Lovecraft in the fashion of his fame: posthumous. Be inspired by the works of Lovecraft and plan your attire to celebrate the Cosmic Horrors his work invokes.
This year's event will be held on Labor Day Weekend (August 31st to September 3rd) at the Hilton Garden Inn Springfield in Massachusetts.

We look forward to sharing a tale worthy of a Lovecraftian world of darkness.
