2024 - Mediation - North America - Lizz Robbins
Introduction and Background:
Hello, I am Lizz Robbins. I have been a part of Owbn since 2002-03. I have traveled to many games over the years during that time. Most of my time in the org I spent in the Midwest but in the past 5 years I now live on the east coast. Characters I currently portray in the org are Silvanna the Deathspeaker, Sagen “T” Good, June Bug, and Bianca Adstratum. I tend to play both live local games and on discord.

Olá, meu nome é Lizz Robbins. Faço parte do Owbn desde 2002-03. Viajei para muitos jogos ao longo dos anos durante esse período. Passei a maior parte do meu tempo na organização no Centro-Oeste, mas nos últimos 5 anos moro agora na costa leste. Os personagens que retrato atualmente na organização são Silvanna the Deathspeaker, Sagen “T” Good, June Bug e Bianca Adstratum. Costumo jogar jogos locais ao vivo e no discord.
Administrative Experience:
I was a ST for 12 years, sometimes two games at once.
I held the Demon coord Position in 2015
I have held Demon/Tremere subcoord positions in the past
I have assisted in STing events like Blood and Ice, EC, and Midwest PallaGrands and organizing mini events for games.
I have worked along teams to write plots for the org as well.
I contract out writing plots for STs

Eu ocupei a posição de coordenação Demoníaca em 2015
Eu ocupei posições de subcoord Demônio/Tremere no passado
Auxiliei em eventos STing como Blood and Ice, EC e Midwest PallaGrands e na organização de mini eventos para jogos.

Personal Statement:
The thing about mediation is half the time there isn’t a wrong or right person. So it's about trying to find a compromise in most situations. What I would like to bring to the team of mediators is my strong focus on compromising when the situation calls for it. I am not shy from asking hard questions, collecting information, and sticking with the respect of confidentiality of the job.

O problema da mediação é que na metade das vezes não existe uma pessoa certa ou errada. Portanto, trata-se de tentar encontrar um compromisso na maioria das situações. O que gostaria de trazer para a equipe de mediadores é meu forte foco em chegar a um acordo quando a situação assim o exigir. Não tenho vergonha de fazer perguntas difíceis, coletar informações e respeitar a confidencialidade do trabalho.
Goals:
Work along with the team to offer streamline organization and scheduling to help decrease burnout.
Review possibly the end of the year and address things that are repetitive offenses. (address the missing stairs problem)

Trabalhe junto com a equipe para simplificar a organização e o agendamento para ajudar a diminuir o esgotamento.
Revise possivelmente o final do ano e resolva coisas que são ofensas repetitivas. (resolver o problema da falta de escadas)
