2022 - Ravnos - Kurt Morris
Introduction and Background:
Hi folks,
My name is Kurt Morris and many of you know me already from my interactions in the org through the last several years. I joined the Org in 2018, my first game ever being the EC that occured that year, talk about jumping in the deep end, right?
This organization has become a second family to me since I came into it and I met not only many of my best friends in this Org, but my wife as well. I feel it's time for me to step up and contribute as more then just an ST or a Player.
Over the last four years I've enjoyed watching and learning, becoming a narrator, becoming a subcord, becoming a HST over my own game and now running for a coord position. Now I believe in keeping things concise, so let's end this here.

Meu nome é Kurt Morris e muitos de vocês já me conhecem pelas minhas interações na organização nos últimos anos. Entrei para a Org em 2018, meu primeiro jogo sendo o EC que ocorreu naquele ano, fala em pular no fundo do poço, certo?
Esta organização tornou-se uma segunda família para mim desde que entrei nela e conheci não apenas muitos dos meus melhores amigos nesta organização, mas também minha esposa. Eu sinto que é hora de eu intensificar e contribuir como mais do que apenas um ST ou um jogador.
Nos últimos quatro anos eu gostei de assistir e aprender, tornando-me um narrador, tornando-me um subcord, tornando-me um HST sobre o meu próprio jogo e agora concorrendo a uma posição de coordenação. Agora eu acredito em manter as coisas concisas, então vamos terminar aqui.

Personal Statement:
I think I covered much of what should have been put here in my introduction.
The best I can say for a personal statement is that I think some change every now and then is a good thing and it's time newer players started stepping up onto the larger stage of the Org more. I'm hoping at Ravnos Coord I will be able to shine some light on newer players and give them the chance to shine.
I suppose I should also mention this office is very personal to me, being of Romani descent myself the culture is something I hold near and deat to my heart and want to make sure that those who choose to portray it in the Org have an understanding of it and are given the support they need to make their experience with my culture one they will enjoy and remember.
I'll also post some questions I expect to be asked here so I can knock them out early:
1: Will I be removing my Ravnos PC from play during my time in office? Yes, I will be working with my staff to bring the current chapter of his story to a close and then completely removing him from play until I leave the office.
2: Will I be removing my Descendant of Dracian PC from play during my time in Office? Yes, I'll need the time these character took up cleared in my schedule for Coord duties anyway.
3: Will I be keeping the Subcoord Team? Probably, I plan to talk with the various subcords and keep most of them on board but likely not all.
4: Why are you running against Will Lee? Well, I think that change is a positive thing and while Will has done good for the genre a fresh perspective is never a bad thing.
5: Are you going to resolve ongoing plot X during your term? If there are any ongoing plots that have yet to be closed I will of course seek to finish those and give the PCs involved satisfying endings to the stories they've invested themselves in.

Acho que cobri muito do que deveria ter sido colocado aqui na minha introdução.
O melhor que posso dizer para uma declaração pessoal é que acho que algumas mudanças de vez em quando é uma coisa boa e é hora de jogadores mais novos começarem a subir mais no palco maior da Org. Espero que no Ravnos Coord eu seja capaz de iluminar os jogadores mais novos e dar a eles a chance de brilhar.
Suponho que devo também mencionar que este escritório é muito pessoal para mim, sendo de ascendência cigana, a cultura é algo que mantenho perto e mordo em meu coração e quero ter certeza de que aqueles que escolhem retratá-la na organização tenham uma compreensão de e recebem o apoio de que precisam para tornar sua experiência com minha cultura algo que eles vão gostar e lembrar.
Também postarei algumas perguntas que espero serem feitas aqui para que eu possa nocauteá-las mais cedo:
1: Vou remover meu PC Ravnos do jogo durante meu tempo no escritório? Sim, estarei trabalhando com minha equipe para encerrar o capítulo atual de sua história e depois removê-lo completamente do jogo até eu sair do escritório.
2: Vou remover meu PC Descendant of Dracian do jogo durante meu tempo no Office? Sim, vou precisar do tempo que esses personagens ocuparam na minha agenda para tarefas de Coord de qualquer maneira.
3: Manterei a Equipe Subcoord? Provavelmente, pretendo conversar com os vários subcords e manter a maioria deles a bordo, mas provavelmente não todos.
4: Por que você está concorrendo contra Will Lee? Bem, acho que a mudança é uma coisa positiva e, embora Will tenha feito bem para o gênero, uma nova perspectiva nunca é uma coisa ruim.
5: Você vai resolver o enredo X em andamento durante o seu mandato? Se houver alguma trama em andamento que ainda não foi encerrada, é claro que tentarei terminá-la e dar aos PJs envolvidos finais satisfatórios para as histórias nas quais investiram.
Goals:
My goals are simple.
1. There won't be a new National Plot from my office for at least the first year. I want to focus on the Ravnos clan on smaller scales and the interplay between the factions of the clan as driven by PCs and not by plot.
2. Will has done a fantastic job keeping a regularly updated packet available and I intend to upkeep that. There will be a packet update at least once in my time in office, maybe twice if I feel genre changes enough to justify it.
3. I plan to gather input from across the Org in regards to the changes that have occured in the Ravnos genre in recent years and ask if they think anything needs tweaked a bit in regards to mechanics or things they'd like to see in the future of the genre. Then I plan to actually act on the information.
4. Above and beyond the above Goals I want one thing, I want to work with the staff of Ravnos players to give them the tools they need to tell stories. That is ultimately the purpose of the Coordinator position, helping players and Storytellers tell the stories they want to tell.

Meus objetivos são simples.
1. Não haverá uma nova Conspiração Nacional do meu escritório pelo menos no primeiro ano. Eu quero focar no clã Ravnos em escalas menores e na interação entre as facções do clã como impulsionadas por PCs e não por enredo.
2. Will fez um trabalho fantástico mantendo um pacote atualizado regularmente disponível e pretendo mantê-lo. Haverá uma atualização de pacote pelo menos uma vez no meu mandato, talvez duas vezes se eu sentir que o gênero mudou o suficiente para justificá-la.
3. Eu pretendo reunir informações de toda a organização em relação às mudanças que ocorreram no gênero Ravnos nos últimos anos e perguntar se eles acham que algo precisa ser ajustado um pouco em relação à mecânica ou coisas que eles gostariam de ver no futuro do gênero. Então eu planejo realmente agir de acordo com a informação.
4. Acima e além dos Objetivos acima Eu quero uma coisa, eu quero trabalhar com a equipe de jogadores de Ravnos para dar a eles as ferramentas que eles precisam para contar histórias. Esse é, em última análise, o propósito do cargo de Coordenador, ajudar os jogadores e Narradores a contar as histórias que eles querem contar.
