Pursuant to Coordinator Bylaw 3.C.iii, I propose the attached Dark Thaumaturgy Packet, hereafter refered to as "The Dark Grimoire" for use in One World by Night.
Those individuals who have received approval for Dark Thaumaturgy since the passing of the 2011 Infernalism Packet will be grandfathered, all others will not be grandfathered and should contact this office to ensure that their Dark Thaumaturgy is on the approval list.
A portion of this packet has already passed. All of the Paths presented in the 2011 Infernalism Packet released by this office are reproduced here in identical form. This was done so that all Dark Thaumaturgy can be found in one location.
There are several additions to Dark Thaumaturgy per this packet. One of them (Path of the Shadow World) was discussed with the Tremere coordinator prior to its inclusion in this packet and as stated in this packet, if the Tremere team later publishes a different set of mechanics it is agreed that those new mechanics will supersede those outlined in this packet.
Several Powers were taken from the Dark Ages Companion. These include Malficia and Striga which are listed in that book as "Infernal Disciplines" and were converted here as Paths of Dark Thaumaturgy to better bring them inline with Revised material.
There is no Rarity level produced in this packet as each Demon's needs are different and thus a rarity structure for these powers does not make sense.
Pact requirements as outlined in the 2011 Infernalism Packet and added to in the 2011 Baali Packet still apply.
The document may be sent privately upon request, in English and in both doc and pdf formats. A Portuguese version of this packet will be created should it pass the proposal process.
