I propose that Assamite Schismatics be moved to the Rare category torepresent the proper proportion of Assamites who have split from the
main body of Loyalists at Alamut. This action will reclassify them as
Rare and require a majority vote from Council for any new Schismatics
to enter play. It would also force NPC Assamites to require
notification to Council. All current Schismatic PCs will fall under
the grandfather clause under OWBN bylaws, and not be held accountable
to this proposition ex post facto.

Tampa, FL - USA, Tampa Bay by Night | Against | i'm with thicker than blood. let's focus on clans that are really R&U, you know like ravnos who were near whipped out a couple few years ago. |
Duluth, MN - USA, Thicker than Blood | Against | The only thing that makes loyalist rare for OWBN is that they are now very challenging for the setting. They are not at all rare in the sense that they are around. Now, lets go about getting rid of the Ravnos instead of spending time on the Assamites... ;) |
Philadelphia, PA - USA, Nusquam | Against | I'm tempted to type ''No'' in all the creative ways that David Spade uses in that Capital One credit card commercial, but I won't. This is a ''knee-jerk'' prop to the Loyalist one that just came up. |
Chicago, IL - USA, Dark Requiem | Against | Whaaaaa??? |
Fredericksburg, VA - USA, Caine's Chosen: Liberty in Death | For | In addition to agreeing with Joe of NVA, my ST is of the opinion that since the number of Assamites within the Camarilla is small, the availablility of Schismatics should be small as well. This also leads to the point that FDF is a Sabbat game. As NVA stated, we do not want the Org to become singularly focused on the Camarilla. We are an organization of collected genres all within the World of Darkness. Total demographics should be shown instead of stuff focusing on one facet of the emalgimation of what we are. |
Indianapolis, IN - USA, Stars Never Rise | Against | Agreed with Mento Mori. Come on guys..let's not waste time with these types of props, please? |
Winona, MN - USA, Winona Dark Haven | Against | Neither schismatics or loyalist should be rare...Well, I guess that depends on the genre of your specific chronicle, which is decided by the STs and Players of each game...this should continue to remain to be the case, especially when WW canon does nothing to promote either of the most recent proposals to make either faction of Assamites 'rare'. |
Auburn, CA - USA, Lux Tenebras | Abstain
Norwalk, CT - USA, Rails of Revolution | Abstain
San Francisco, CA - USA, Always Comes Evening | Against | This is a reactionary prop and is baseless. Loyalists should be rare, schimsatics should not. |
Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | Against | This vote was propped to make a point. It was a completely stupid and childish thing to do. I truly hope the council members involved in propping this and seconding it (Joe Sherrange and Josh Strassman) have gotten it out of their system. If you truly feel the need to make idiotic gestures like this, then pack your bags and leave the org already. You seem to take pride in the fact that, in your own words, you are an asshole. Well, grow up. We're adults now, and such behavior is not acceptable and will not make you popular like it did in high school. Your lack of constructive effort is neither required or desired. |
Cleveland, OH - USA, Carpe Noctum | Against | Assamites are NOT rare |

Phoenix, AZ - USA, Secundus Surrectum | Against | As per the Secundus STs, the vote goes to No. We completely agree with folks... this was a waste of time on everyone who had to muck through a vote on this. |
Kenosha, WI - USA, Memento Mori | Against | A few weeks ago, I said a different proposal was the biggest waste of time put before council. I was wrong. |
Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | Against | see Dark Haven.....they know their stuff |
Harrisonburg, VA: Death in the Valley | Against
Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | Against | schismatics are out and about and for longer periods of time (since they don't have a home to go back to) in exactly that way loyalists aren't. I got the point in maiing this proposel, I just don't think it is in any way a valid one. |
Northern Virginia, VA - USA, Night Falls | For | Thought about it some more, ya know people quoting that the Loyalists are alrady rare and that there are more Loyalist then Schematics anything other than a yes vote is hypocritical. Yes I proped this to make a point, yes I think its stupid both Proposals are, and yes i am an Asshole. Neither member of the clan should be rare, Especially seeing as its quickly becomming a Camarilla only org where its the difficulty of RPing the character becomes the deciding factor in detremining their rariety. I should not change my vote, I really should not. I should keep with allowing Storytellers to make their owe decisions on who can RP what in their game but apparently the Majority of the Org wants it to remain as it was written by our Genre coordinator even though their is no basis in any of the white wolf cannon, just the delusional vision of the Assamite clan by both our former and current Assamite coord, that assamites are happy status baring Kindred. OHH and See Dark Haven Comments they pretty much summ up the point of this propsal. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | This seems like a good time to submit my prop that all out of clan-clan specific disciplines should give the person who learns them the appropriate clan flaw! For example: You learn obtenebration, you lose your reflection! You learn protean, you get beast traits when you frenzy! You learn chimestry, your antidiluvian wakes up and destroys your entire clan! Heck, while we're at it, lets make Nosferatu rare! We shouldn't see nearly as many as we do. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | Uhhhh...No Way. Not only no way, but why are we even wasting time like this? This prop accomplishes nothing. You aren't going to get Loyalists back by acting like a three year old. |
