I propose that the appointment of a PC to the position of Archon be voted on by council requiring a Majority vote and that NPC Archons become a notify to council. This would place Archons in the Rare R & U classification. Section: 6 Rare and Unique Procedure Classifications.

| Indianapolis, IN - USA, Stars Never Rise | Against | I absolutly flat out refuse to vote for anything, that not only is a slap in the face to our Clan Coords, but also stunts good role-play. Next? |
| Norwalk, CT - USA, Rails of Revolution | Against | If this were changed to notify, I would vote yes, I believe Archons should be in the hands of the Coords, but with a notify to Council, there could be some checks and balances |

| Columbus, OH - USA, Columbus in Darkness | Against | Up with Coords. |
| Washington, DC - USA, Shadows on the Mall | Against | Keep it IC. And for the record, were I a Clan Coordinator, I'd require a binding agreement with the PC Archon's home chronicle allowing me to declare the PC dead at any time for no reason prior to naming any PC an Archon. |

| Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | Against | blah blah....we should hamstring our coords more, it makes for a better game, really it does |
| Harrisonburg, VA: Death in the Valley | Against | I don't like PC Archons. Never have. *shrugs* I don't mind NPC Archons, but....I agree with Shadows on the Mall..binding agreements are a good way to avoid the comments given regarding no recourse. Plus, I like supporting the coords. Funny that. |
| Gimli, MB - Canada, Sang Nordique | Against | |
| Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | Against | First we should really trust the coord in question to make the choice on who should serve as archons. Second, making archons R&U won't provide any leash over bad player behavior, requiring them to have binding agreements with the coords would. This doesn't really help anything. |
| Northern Virginia, VA - USA, Night Falls | For | The argument all archons on a leash is BS. How many have rolled into a game and upset the balance and then had their coord pulling their hair out, with phone calls from 2000 miles away. This puts a measure of control on to said Archon's as anything that any other chronicle may have a problem with could then voice their opinion during the discussion period. |
| Edwardsville, IL - USA, Caught in Eternal Twilight | Against | |
| Head Coord | Abstain | I defer to the wisdom of Council. |
| AHC 1 | Against | There is recourse for any game who wishes a PC archon to not affect their game. |
| Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | We vote the Coords in, are we gonna start voting for their Subbies as well? There are already enough popularity contests in OWbN. Sorry. |

| Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | The coucil doesn't need to vote on every little thing, we have Co ords to sort this sort of thing out, lets use them not hobble them. |

| Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | I trip on a certain archon's leash all the time. No. |

| Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | Given the ''Denying Entry'' Bylaw, I don't understand what the problem is with PC Archons that would make them require a vote. All Archons are on a leash, as it were, anyway. If they do something that their Justicar doesn't like, they probably take a long walk off a short pier leading to a stake-filled pit, which is exposed to sunlight a few hours later. Or at best, are no longer an Archon. Edit: Whoops, meant to vote No, not Abstain. Fixed. |
