St. Louis, MO - USA, Shadows of St. Louis | For | Per Storytelling Staff Vote. |
Los Angeles, CA - USA, La Sangre De Los Angeles | Abstain
Pirenopolis, GO: No Man's Land | For
La Crosse, WI - USA, The Rivers Edge | For
Iowa City, IA - USA, Fields of Rage | Against | If there is concern over the wording, lets vote it down, then have it re-propped with better wording. |
Cape Cod, MA - USA, Rage Across the Cape | Against | Changed vote just to have it re-written |
Berkeley, CA - USA, Wasting the Dawn | For | We have to prevent this kind of ST abuse. Let's go, guys. |
Stockton, CA - USA, Stockton by Night | Against | I read this 4 times, and don't see a need. |
Milwaukee, WI - USA, Nocturnal Rapture | Against
Decatur, IL - USA, The Chaos Within | Against
Cedar Rapids, IA - USA, Five Nights | Against
Sacramento, CA - USA, Sacramento By Night | For | If the character is now an NPC, I don't think the player should really be portraying him, but I get the point behind it, and yes, this supports the spirit of the IM clause. |
Duluth, MN - USA, Thicker than Blood | Against | Not clearly written enough. Doesn't explain what's required. |
Philadelphia, PA - USA, Nusquam | Against | If people could be trusted to uphold the ''spirit of the bylaws'', then this amendment would be completely unnecessary. Clean up the language and spell out exactly what this proposal will do with zero vagueness. |
Chicago, IL - USA, Dark Requiem | Against
Plainfield, IL - USA, Obsidian Shadows | Against | The proposal is vague and thus ineffective. |
Indianapolis, IN - USA, Stars Never Rise | Against | I like the spirit of this proposal, but the wording needs to be seriously cleaned up. |
Winona, MN - USA, Winona Dark Haven | Against
Auburn, CA - USA, Lux Tenebras | Against
San Francisco, CA - USA, Always Comes Evening | For
Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | For
Atlanta, GA - USA, Whispers of Atlanta | Against | Even without this amendment, I feel the spirit of the bylaw includes the NPC/PC thing without specification. I'd rather take these things on a case-by-case basis than throwing in what I perceive is an unnecessary amendment. |
Winchester, VA: Sins in the Valley | Against | Per players vote: The spirit of the prop is great. The wording is not. Please make it more concise. |
Cincinnati, OH - USA, Shadows of Cincinnati | Abstain
Columbus, OH - USA, Columbus in Darkness | For
Gary, IN - USA, Shattered Souls | Against | Though unclear, vague and needs to be rewritten. I know where this originated from. Option A This is basically saying that a player who had a PC turned NPC and where that player creates another PC with knowledge of his NPC at creation, and works in conjunction with their NPC. Or/And Option B We as an Org. do not trust St's as St's in portraying their former PC turned NPC within their own chronicle as they can create other NPC's to work with their PC turned NPC. Our principles and practices do not allow St's to portray their PC or PC's turned NPC's within Gary: Blood & Steel; We trust the Administration Staff of our sister chronicles to check and balance their own, and if we don't we just don't attend that game. Either way this needs to be clarified to understand if this means Option A, B or both. Though, I would think Option A would already be encompassed in the current bylaw. |
Phoenix, AZ - USA, Secundus Surrectum | Abstain | While I support the idea and feel a clarification in that direction is necessary, this is not as well worded as I would like, and should be edited, if nothing else, to put spaces in between all of the words. Rewrite it for clarity and try again, please. |
Amador, CA - USA, River of Shadows | Against | Needs to be rewritten. The spirit of what was discussed on Council made sense, but the proposed wording is not clear enough to be of use. |
Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | Against
New Orleans, LA - USA, Long Night | For | We vote now, and if it does not pass, we will reword and re prop until it DOES Get passed. |
Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | Abstain
St. Augustine, FL - USA, On Haunted Ground | Against | Dreux my friend....huh what? |
Annapolis, MD - USA, Vitae Aeternus | Against
Edwardsville, IL - USA, Caught in Eternal Twilight | Against | Teh Ethics are not defined. This will therefore not apply to any one, no teeth so to speak! |
Baltimore, MD - USA, Dark Harbor | Against
AHC 1 | Abstain | If someone else wants to re-write it, I'm fine with it. Honestly, the only reason this is being proposed in my mind is the Lix situation. IE, someone is still very actively playing their former PC and calling it an NPC and immune to the bylaws that otherwise regulate ethical play. |

Reclamation | For | I love the thought behind the proposal, though not the grammar in it. I look forward to this being re-propped with clearer language, something along the lines of: A PC who is elevated to the status of NPC is still subject to the Inigo Montoya clause if they are still portrayed by the same person. |
