Character Sheet ReviewIn order to enable Coordinators to better manage genre issues, a Coordinator or Council Member may propose that any PC or NPC character sheet or sheets be sent to the Executive Team and Genre Coords for inspection. If the vote passes, the ST team in charge of that PC or NPC, must submit a current, accurate copy of the sheet in .RTF or text format to the Executive Team within two weeks of the votebuy shoesAir Max

New York City, NY - USA, Kings of New York | For | nothing like an st rike. me rike. rerry much. |
Los Angeles, CA - USA, La Sangre De Los Angeles | Against | as per our players. They feel that this is already done and that a committee they've never met should not have full control over people they know nothing about. Cheating should already be prevented, this just seems unncessesary. One more rule we don't need. |
Saint Paul, MN - USA, Obsidian Towers | Against | 1) This should just apply to PC sheets. 1-A) And what do I do when a sheet request is made for a non sheeted NPC? 2) Why do I foresee a flood of annoying sheet requests based on nothing more than rumour or hearsay? |
Berkeley, CA - USA, Wasting the Dawn | Against | We Agree with ACE and should be updated to the cordnatiors jobs in the bylaws |
Stockton, CA - USA, Stockton by Night | Against
Duluth, MN - USA, Thicker than Blood | Against | See Always Comes Evening...I think that 'most' games would just be willing to send the sheet to a Coord if they asked...but I think just adding it to the genre coord would simplify and clarify this ability... |
Philadelphia, PA - USA, Nusquam | Abstain
Chicago, IL - USA, Dark Requiem | Against | This does not need a damn proposal...WTF? If a coord is in their right to request a sheet (ie. there is not anything fishy going on) then the STs should give it to them. STs and Coords have real lives, or I like to think most do, and to try and impose this rule without better specifics for time and whatnot is just silly....and who is going to make that call, to say how much time an ST has to respond to this request?? I mean, we're all volunteers, and this is a GAME. |
Fredericksburg, VA - USA, Caine's Chosen: Liberty in Death | For | Coords can already request sheets. This puts a bit more oversight into place and adds some teeth to genre coordination.Cincinatti - any CM may propose anything they want to already. If it's frivolous, then there won't be a second. ACE - Coords can already do that on an individual basis. This gives All the coords viewing priveleges. |
Winona, MN - USA, Winona Dark Haven | Abstain
Norwalk, CT - USA, Rails of Revolution | Against | All we need is for some CM to hear a rumor and request a sheet...no thank you |
San Francisco, CA - USA, Always Comes Evening | Against | I think the better way to do this would be to change the Genre Coord bylaws to include it: 2. Genre Coordinators may collect information (including character sheets) on clan/sect/species/activities (or in the case of the Justicar Coordinators, on matters which have been brought IC to the Justicar's attention) ... |
Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | For | If this doesn't go, I'm all for specifying that coords can just flat out request sheets. |
Atlanta, GA - USA, Whispers of Atlanta | Against | See ACE. |
Fargo, ND - USA, Within Shadow's Reach | Abstain | No no no....-Austin |
Cleveland, OH - USA, Carpe Noctum | Against | This power already exists. There is no need to explicitly enumerate it. It also would create an even larger flood of annoying bureaucratic proposals for council. |
Cincinnati, OH - USA, Shadows of Cincinnati | Against | Any CM? Not needed for any CM to be able to do this, just Coords. |
Columbus, OH - USA, Columbus in Darkness | Against | NoThis is an ability (minus the OWBN Strike) that the coords already have. I'm a CM and I do not want the ability to request to see Player B's character sheet simply because I hear through the gossip line that he had some wonky crap on it. The Coords office already has the ability to deal with that - the CM's don't need to do that for them. |
Springfield, IL - USA, Capitol City Cauldron | Against
Washington, DC - USA, Shadows on the Mall | For
Phoenix, AZ - USA, Secundus Surrectum | Against | Whoops. My bad. No, Council Members should not be able to request this. If they hear some bad info on a Sheet, or see it when it comes to their game, they go to the Coord handling that character. Then the Coord goes through the steps. |
Kenosha, WI - USA, Memento Mori | Against | As written, this is this just some sort of unwritten rule that won't be placed anywhere. I always feel proposals regarding rules need to be written into the bylaws, or else you have more situations where conclave rules are passed that are violated (well, forgotten and revoted at the very least) at the very next conclave. Also, this will make it more difficult for my players to cheat, which is the primary reason they play in OWbN. (OK, so that last sentence was a joke... really.) |
Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | For | Many chronicles are voting no based on the ''ability for council members to see sheets''. This prop does not in any way give the ability to council members to see the sheets, ''In order to enable Coordinators to better manage genre issues, a Coordinator or Council Member may propose that any PC or NPC character sheet or sheets be sent to the Executive Team and Genre Coords for inspection.'' It clearly states that a CM may propose that a sheet be sent to the Exec team and Genre coord for inspection. |
Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | For | there's really nothing to fear from this, unless of course you know your sheet isn't legal or is terribly out of genre. |
Northern Virginia, VA - USA, Night Falls | For
Edwardsville, IL - USA, Caught in Eternal Twilight | Against | See LA, Cincinnati, & Chicago |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | Being I just noticed it for the first time only Coordinators should have this power, not Council Members. I didn't catch that until I was just about to vote, sorry guys. A Coordinator should have this power, but if a Council Representative sees something they should report it to a Coordinator who can go through other channels first. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | For | I am so sick of seeing people try to limit what the Coords can do to mantain genre. You people elected them, wtf? I can't even think of something funny to put in here. 00100 |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | As is well known (I hope) we have always demonstrated our faith in the Coords and desire to work with them damn near unquestioningly. If a Coord wants to see a sheet from Danse Macabre, they can ask and we will most likely be more than happy to oblige. But not at the whim of a CM and I won't agree to making this mandatory for anyone. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | For | Coords should already have this right. In fact, I don't think we should even need the bylaw. I think if Coord A emails Game D and asked to see a PC sheet, there should be no problems. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | This is be unnecessary since Council can always force a game's hand in such situations. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | For | im not at all afraid of coords and cms having the power to let the exec team do what they could do anyway if they needed to. i guess this just sets an allowable standard that i dont mind. |
