Coordinator Position Applied For: Tzimisce Coordinator
Applicant Name: Derek Howard

Applicant Email: kungfukermit@gmail.com
Applicant Home Chronicle: Caught in Eternal Twilight

Introduction/Background:

Hello! My name is Derek Howard, and I am running for the position of Tzimisce Coordinator.

I have been playing in OWbN since the mid-1990's, and have been involved in the Organization at almost every level. Many of you may know me as the player of JakobPhuridae of Clan Ravnos, Isaac Lazarion of Clan Tremere, or as Grey, Toreador antitribu. I also played Julius DeMarco/Gregori Hunter (of that Hunter family, one of the bad ones) and Mort the Malkamite (for you old schoolers).

For the Coordinators, I have also portrayed Prince Wilhelm Waldberg of Berlin for the Ventrue Coordinator office, and Zodiac the City Gangrel in my capacity as Sabbat Gangrel Subcoord. Many Sabbat players may remember me for my portrayals of Paladin Thaddius von Darkmore and Cardinal Radu Bistri. I have also portrayed several Archons for the Ventrue and Toreador offices.

I was one of the founding Storytellers of the Springfield, Illinois game.

Administrative Experience:

ST Experience:
Founding ST of Springfield CCC (1999- 2001, 2004-2006)
Current HST of Madison County, CIET (2007- Present)
Guest ST for Tuscola, CU, Chicago

Subcoordinator Experience:
Ventrue Clan Subcoord 2001-Present
Sabbat Subcoord under Ian K.
Gangrel Clan Subcood under Teresa Jester
Wraith Subcoord under Joe Long
Short term as Necromancy Subcoord for the Giovanni Coord Office

Council Member Experience:
Former Council Representative for the Tuscola, CIET, & Springfield games.

Goals:

My primary goal as Tzimisce Coordinator is to be a useful resource to the Tzimisce players and Storytellers of OWbN. Being that OWbN is primarily a Camarilla chronicle based organization, I want to help those players in Clan Tzimisce get the assistance that they deserve in spite of being a smaller group of players. I want to accomplish this by opening communications between players, storytellers and myself to generate a larger sense of genre.

I would also like to be a resource to assist those Camarilla Storytellers that might want to interject the antagonistic side of a Tzimisce in their game without being a "rawr I'm a horrid form that will smash you." Clan Tzimisce are cunning villains, creators of nightmares and destruction with equal measure. If a Camarilla chronicle would like to use a Tzimisce as an antagonist, I want to help them make said villain all they can and should be. This is not to say that I feel that a Storyteller has to involve me, but as Coordinator, I will make the time to get involved if they wish.

Packets: I plan to compile a Vicissitude packet. This will be NOT made as a binding packet, but as a resource of various ideas from games that can be shared by all.

Koldunism: I believe that Koldunism is fast becoming an issue in need of discussion. I plan to initiate said discussions with STs, Council, and players.

White Wolf Canon NPCs: As OWbN has changed as of late we are seeing an upswing in the involvement of WW canon characters. Many of these characters have ties/rivalries with infamous/famousTzimisce. I would like to explore the idea of involving these rivalries and how it might enrich the story for the players.

Personal Statement:

The Tzimisce are a Clan of scary creepy monsters, and I believe that the personal horror that they bring to OUR World of Darkness needs a fresh face and set of hands.

I am really excited about the prospect of helping the Tzimisce players and Storytellers of OWbN and I am hoping to working closely with Ian K. on the Sabbat side of things. Overall, I am just looking forward to continuing to assist the organization in whatever capacity it needs me. Thank you for your consideration.

-Derek

- From Ian K., KONY, & Sabbat Coordinator Applicant for 2010

He considers his discussions carefully, asks questions when he doesn't have all the answers and he is willing to accept when he is wrong. I am excited to see what this top-notch roleplayer and storyteller will bring to the table in coordinating a Clan he deeply loves."
- From Robert Crosby, HST of Springfield CCC, and player of Saul Good.

Posição de Coordenador desejada: Coordenador Tzimisce
Nome do candidato: Derek Howard

E-mail do candidato: kungfukermit@gmail.com

Nome da Crônica natal do candidato: Caught in Eternal Twilight

do CLã Tremere, or como Grey, Toreador antitribu.

Waldberg the Berlin para o Coord Ventrue e Zodiac, o gangrel urbano,
em minhas atribuições como subcoord sabá gangrel. Muitos jogadores
Thaddius von Darkmore e o Cardeal Radu Bistri.

ST fundador do Springfield CCC (1999- 2001, 2004-2006)
Atual HST de Madison County, CIET (2007- Present)
ST convidado para Tuscola, CU, Chicago

Experiência como Subcoord:
Ventrue Clan Subcoord 2001-Present
Sabbat Subcoord under Ian K.
Gangrel Clan Subcood under Teresa Jester
Wraith Subcoord under Joe Long
Short term as Necromancy Subcoord for the Giovanni Coord Office

Experiência como Council Member:
Former Council Rep for Tuscola, CIET, Springfield

o horror pessoal que eles trazem para o NOSSO World of Darkness

- From Jenn Bahrs, Head Coordinator

Coord e amigo.

- From Ian K., KONY, & Sabbat Coordinator Applicant for 2010

- From Stef Moser, Kuei-jin Coordinator

- From Robert Crosby, HST of Springfield CCC, and player of Saul Good.

background: My name is Rory Frederick, some of you may have heard of me, some of you may not. I try to take the good with the bad when it comes to those of you who have. :-)
In any case, I am writing this to request your support for my application for Tzimisce Coordinator.
Please allow me to give you a little detail about myself and my history with One World by Night.

I began playing in Sacramento in March of 2000 (well, that was the first time the game had been a member under it's contemporary ST staff, anyways). In December of 2000, I founded Stockton by Night with several long-time gaming friends. I STed in that game for nearly three years.
During those formative years, I was a Subcoord or advisor to several Coords on a number of issues. I helped pen the original plan for the KJ Great Leap Outward plot (which had to be radically altered by the time it swung into motion as Los Angeles had formed a game under Kenny Lull and we didn't want to tell them, "Hey....guess what? Masako sold you out. Make KJ toons!"). I was a Brujah Subcoord, handling Anarchs by and large (a very small and fractious group at the time within the org). I also worked extensively with the Setite Coord (Tony, then Sarah) and the Tremere Coords (mostly Dennis, a little Mikey) during that period, as well. In fact, the first extant member of House Virtue (and the reason it was introduced into the org) was an NPC I created and ran in Stockton named Jefferson Downing. I am so glad that it has turned into something more than the "secret society" of three it was originally intended as to help my game's Tremere get involved on a wider level in the org.
In 2004, Josh Rambo and I formed River of Shadows: The Sixth Day (some of you may know it now as simply RoS or Amador). We quickly took the game through the application process, again, joining in the spring (although my memory from those dark days of yore is somewhat tenuous).
I have been a CM for both Stockton and Sacramento, and was briefly a Narrator in Sacramento by Night in the summer of 2007.

I ran for Tzimisce Coord the first and second years it was an elected position. Although I lost, I was glad to serve as the West Coast Subcoord under every Tzimisce Coord we have had since the positions inception.
statement: I feel that the Tzimisce, while a small Clan within the org by comparable standards, are no less deserving of attention. Like so many smaller groups out there, the Tzimisce are incredibly intricate and the players are often looking for something more personal from their genre support structure. Especially in a Clan with such living contradictions as a tendency to strictly adhere to tradition on the one hand and vehemently trying to piss on it in the other!
But most importantly, the Tzimisce are the home of two very problematic areas in One World by Night: Vicissitude (and its modifications) and Koldunic Sorcery.

While I don't want to create a universal set of house rules as each game is independent to some degree and STs should be able to craft their own flavor of the universe, I would like to work on creating at least a guideline that could potentially act as a stop-gap for games who are discovering these things are suddenly present. From that cooperative framework, STs could take or leave whatever they wished but, at the very least, it would be there for them as a resource.

In terms of plot, one thing that has been largely overlooked in the years since the Tzimisce got their own Coord was internal plot and drama. The Clan is largely stagnant on a level outside of highly individualized personal development and involvement with the Sabbat. The various societies and organizations of the Tzimisce remain largely dormant and unused and a wealth of RP potential, especially in the distance game, is being under-utilized to help PCs flesh out the kind of vicious, murdering Fiend they really want to be.

In any case, I'm here and open to any questions you might have. I'd really appreciate your support in building a better, more beautiful and perfect tomorrow.latest Nike release困ったらここ!
