[AUTOPASS] [PACKET][BYLAW REVISION] Tremere Telyavelic Packet 2026

I, Drew O'Hair, in my Duties as Tremere Coordinator of One World by Night propose the following Packet for the Tremere Genre.


3.C.iii.Genre Coordinators must pass before Council any plot, R&U bylaw revision, R&U named characters, Coordinator-NPC Character Resurrections, territory requests, in character enforced policy, or in character binding edict they wish to use which they can reasonably expect to affect multiple chronicles and these proposals need not be seconded, but go immediately into discussion.

The Telyavelic Tremere are a Bloodline which exists in secret both in the Camarilla and the Sabbat, with some more frequency in the Sabbat. This packet seeks to show their variety and give some insight into their history and some nuance to play.

In addition, I have been approached about what constitutes "Sielanic Thaumaturgy". In the printed material, Sielanic Thaumaturgy is two paths and a handful of rituals. In the current exp state of the org, it's been impressed upon me that this is not enough for a given paradigm. The Telyavs, due to their secret allegiances, can often have access to Hermetic Thaumaturgy, or Koldunism, in order to make up for this. In the proposed packet, Sielanic Thaumaturgy is fleshed out and given 'in-paradigm' paths. I expect that this will lead to less reliance on other magic sources. In addition, this packet will introduce a modest number of custom content that is meant to allow Telyavelic Tremere to express themselves more uniquely and individually. I am very eager to receive feedback for these as well

Following from that, however, is that this packet reaffirms the secret status of Telyavs. In the Sabbat, they are considered Tremere who survived the purge of 1998. Any open Telyav will likely be hunted and killed after being discovered. It is imperative to their genre that they seek to remain secret, typically masquerading as Tzimisce, who give them a place to hide and shelter them. On the Camarilla side, they are considered to have been hunted down, and are enemies to the clan. However, Etrius and a small cabal of Tremere have engaged in protecting and placing Telyavelic Tremere in order to continue to have access to their thaumaturgy.
