[SECOND] [TERRITORY REQUEST] Tennessee territory acquisition for a new satellite

 

With the approval of Bruce, Membership Coord, Prey to Predator is asking for a vote on noncongruent territory acquiring of the following counties in Tennessee.

    

1. Knox County

• Borders: Anderson, Blount, Sevier, Loudon, Jefferson

 

2. Anderson County

• Borders: Knox, Blount, Loudon

 

3. Blount County

• Borders: Knox, Anderson, Loudon, Sevier

 

4. Sevier County

• Borders: Knox, Blount, Jefferson, Cocke

 

5. Loudon County

• Borders: Knox, Anderson, Blount

 

6. Jefferson County

• Borders: Knox, Sevier, Cocke

 

7. Cocke County

• Borders: Sevier, Jefferson

 

Population numbers of the total space ask 

 

    • Knox: 526 sq mi (18 water), ~501K people. Centered on the Tennessee River and Ridge-and-Valley region.

    • Anderson: 345 sq mi (7.6 water), ~77.6K people. Home to Norris Lake and Oak Ridge.

    • Blount: 567 sq mi (7.8 water), ~135K people. Borders the Smokies, rich in mountainous terrain.

    • Sevier: 598 sq mi (5.2 water), ~99.5K people. Gateway to Great Smoky Mountains, tourist-heavy.

    • Loudon: 247 sq mi (18 water), ~54.9K people. Defined by Tellico and Fort Loudoun Lakes.

    • Jefferson: 314 sq mi (40.5 water), ~54.7K people. Notable for Cherokee and Douglas Lakes.
