[POLL] Genre/Sect Coordinators having in genre PCs

This has been an off and on topic over the years and is a question in almost every election that decides many chronicle’s votes. Should Coordinators be permitted to play PCs of the genres they oversee? Many agree this is clear conflict of interest, especially for Clan Coordinators. Most offices have a rule against it.

 

I'd like to gage the org's opinion on this topic. Feel free to discuss here and I'll be opening up two polls for Council to vote on. These polls will be open for two weeks and will decide what bylaws are proposed, if any, about this issue.

 

Poll 2: Can Sect/Genre Coords (not Clan Coords) portray active PCs of the Genre their office oversees?

1. Up to the Coordinator.

2. The Coord can't play national level PCs of their genre, but their subcoords can.

3. The Coord can't play national level PCs of their genre and their subcoords can't play something they oversee, i.e. a Sabbat Subcoord who oversees the Moderates faction can't play a Moderate PC, the CB Subcoord who oversees the Bonegnawer tribe can't play a Bonegnawer PC.
