[AUTOPASS] [BYLAW REVISION] More Sadhana specific regulations

I, Will Lee, propose the following changes to the character bylaws. Legacy, tech none because it’s disallowed. This has the potential to auto pass.

 

First of all? Why Will! Well making Karma this was met with a lot of excitement. It makes it sadhana only, even through sharing powers. You want to channel the divine power of the gods to do something, have the correct code.

 

Why these three rituals? Some are shared in new age, and some if you read don’t fit the faith aspect. As the legacy approvals for rituals roll in, I run plots and see stuff, and the ability to share power increases? I want some things to stay in their wheelhouse. You work hard to become someone with Sadhana, you follow all the rules and play within the realm? You should have something that is only you. Something a super old pc shouldn’t just also have.

 

It really devalues work when you see someone with Lunamancy: Destinys call (for those around for that aprils fools!)

 

Will this upset some people? Sure, I get it. Will it make some people actual feel unique and have something special? Totally, and I’ll take that over people being mad at me any day.

 

But! For those who have it via another way? Get the code, and it works! Worship Derek Howard? And you can’t control the wheel of fate.

 

Why not praabti? To close to Mercury and teleport in anarchs to really be something worth doing.

 

I will, help and replace these for people who can’t use them. I highly advise (but can’t force) games to refund the experience for those who can’t find something to change it to. Especially those who have Pillars, as that one has changed a LOT over the years. Heck it used to be sadhana. They are ways to fix, because I control the paradigm and can swap it out .

 

Final soapbox! As we work together as coords to make things unique to paradigms, we should enforce it beyond always was. I’m guilty, I’m an old player with lots of random stuff. I’d support other coords doing this, even if I lost stuff. Because, I personally think it’s cool if you want a paradigm specific thing, go to someone with it, not an old PC that just has it.
