I, Will L, propose the following plot. This has the potential to auto-pass.

 

There are also mechanics for a background that is already regulated, but forgot to add to the new packet cause I’m dumb. I’ll line item it after this. Despite this being a plot, please share it with whomever!

Ghosts of the Past

 

With the echos of the past shattered between Hazimel and the recent Dracian plot, hundreds of souls that were destroyed during the week of nightmares are being released and reborn. A massive wave or energy is released, but the with of Rodina has come true. As the Sadhu are reborn one by one, the Ravnos are returned to this world in the role they are needed. Mentors and last wishes to the next generation of the clan. This plot can be shared so players know the talk to their sts for support and resources.

 

System: This isn’t a big bad guy plot, it is a plot for local STs to have a cool tool to play with. Mechanically, these are non wraith mentors that can act for Ravnos. Non-wraith? Not looking for cool powers to just snatch away the mentor and ruin the plot for people.

 

What this gives you? A St approval background that provides a mentor, plot, or guide. Does this Sadhu need a Ravnos to work towards their goals, provide guidance, fulfill last wishes? Does the Ravnos anti want to continue their role as a fallen heathen. The options are numerous, but! The role will be heavily on STs to provide tools and resources to their players. They can easily come to the Coord’s office for future approvals and resources gathered by these NPCs, but the responsibility to handle this will fall on the games. It’s not possible for me and my subs to run 50 NPCs across the org at any given time that is supposed to be connected and have in depth knowledge of local PCs.

 

Background: Returned Mentor (1-5). You have a mentor that has returned from the wheel of destiny. They are unable to interact with this world but can communicate with you by some twist of fate. Only the Ravnos/Anti can see this mentor, and mechanically they are no creature type (thus, cannot be trapped by powers, forever bound to their new ward). This mentor can be from any walk of Ravnos life and is there to help both you and them. Perhaps their compulsion was to help the homeless, and now their only way is through you. This background focuses like traditional mentor, but nothing is taught by these being besides abilities and lore. Instead, they can put the PC in contact with existing NPCs that may be able to help them. 

NOTE: These mentors are here for personal plots between local staff and the Ravnos/Anti. These are not coordinator controlled but can be justification to seek approval from the Coordinator’s office. This merit is disallowed for non Ravnos/Anti
