I, Adam Sartori, CM for Kings of New York propose the following Edit to the OWBN Bylaws:
---Remove---
6.E.viii. Removal From Office
---Add---
4.E. Vote of No Confidence
i. OWBN Coordinators may be removed from Office before their term has finished. This is done via a council proposal titled Vote of No confidence for the coordinator in the subject line of the email by a member OWbN Council, Executive Team, or Mediation Team..
ii. A vote of No confidence may be called for any reason the proposing member feels is appropriate against the coordinator, but must provide evidence and reason for the call to vote.
iii. The proposal containing this action against an elected Coordinator must pass with the most votes to remove them. The Head Coordinator is obligated to use his or her vote to break the tie, if necessary.
iv. Upon ratification of the removal the member will no longer serve OWBN in the position previously held. This action may not be reversed.
--Reasoning—
I have removed the function of Coordinator removal by council from the Disciplinary Action Section and placed it under the Coordinator Election Section. This is largely to remove confusion about the process and to no longer have it associated with other more extreme Disciplinary Actions
This Proposal Will need a Second
Thanks,
HST and CM for Kings of New York
