Pursuant to bylaw C. iii. Genre Coordinators must pass before Council any plot, R&U bylaw revision, R&U named characters, Coordinator-NPC Character Resurrections, territory requests, in character enforced policy, or in character binding edict they wish to use which they can reasonably expect to affect multiple chronicles and these proposals need not be seconded, but go immediately into discussion.
The Camarilla Coord office propose the following change to the Camarilla Genre packet due to the votes from the recent Conclave in Boston in October 2024 and the survey from the Conclave:
It was put forth that the Camarilla remove itself from the Treaty of Fire.

NOW BEFORE EVERYONE COMMENTS:
Leaving the Treaty of Fire could have a number of consequences for the Camarilla:
- Sabbat could declare open war again and use leaving the treaty as another reason to not trust the Camarilla.
- Anarch's could go "We still are a part of ...." OR "We were never a part of..."
- Other signers of the Treaty could also feel that Camarilla's word can not be trusted.
- Camarilla Domain's have still been attacked by the Sabbat even with being part of the treaty, for many staying with the treaty or leaving the treaty they think will have no repercussions - the Cold War Remains in effect....
I would be curious as are some other Coord of the number of Sabbat with Cam only combos and Cam members with Sabbat only combos before and after the treaty was signed. -- I am not sure if these numbers could be found or not.
This has the potential for a lot of role play either way the vote goes. I know I have not thought of every consequence in leaving the Treaty or staying with the treaty. I just wanted CM's to stop and think before giving their vote either way.
