Pursuant to Coordinator Bylaw 3.C.iii.5, as the Demon Coordinator, I, David Niemitz, in my duties as said Coordinator, hereby propose the attached Territory be claimed by the Demon Coordinator's office.  Disposition and supporting justification for the Territory is described below.

 

This proposal carries the potential to autopass.

Rationale

As outlined in the Plot Prop for War by Other Means, there are a few locations key to this ongoing Fallen Genre plot that will be needed to tell a story of factional politics with lasting stakes.  We want to ensure that the actions of player characters are able to affect the territory and change its default state.  

 

The three locations outlined above are the cannon possessions/power bases of the Faustian, Ravener, and Reconciler factions, respectively.  The Cryptics don’t really have a physical base of operations, and I intend the Luciferians to set up forward command posts in Imperial County, so those two factions shouldn’t be an issue.  

 

Meteor Crater contains the remains of a Fallen Angel, and the other two locations - Lemuria and Chateau de la Rochepot - are ancient Bastions that exist (at least partially) extra-dimensionally.  I’ve spoken with Unchained Arizona, who currently owns Meteor Crater, and they’ve agreed to this claim, provided the Demon Office notifies them of things that would affect their Chronicle.  I’ve also spoken to the Toreador Coordinator, and we are entering into a Binding Agreement to clearly define the way the Chateau de la Rochepot will be handled.
