“Attention Elysium, I have a decree to make. For those of you who have not heard by now, on my way here I was ambushed by no less than three Black Spiral Dancers and a cadre of Fomori. If it had not been for the courageous efforts of this mysterious Jester, who just happened to be passing by, I would not be standing here today. I was quickly overpowered by one of the Dancers, and right before I was about to meet my final death, the Jester swooped in on a nearby scaffolding rope, drop kicking the creature off me. I watched, both paralyzed by fear and weakness and captivated by the Jesters abilities. The Fomori dogpiled him, and I thought his end was near, when he rose up, sending dozens of them flying with such force that they disintegrated when they hit the nearby walls. One of the remaining dancers pounced, swiping with his claws, but the Jester caught his hand without so much as moving an inch. I watched as he grabbed the Garou and folded him into an origami crane without breaking a sweat. The last Dancer reached for a fetish and pointed it at the Jester, releasing a wave of green fire at him. When the flames subsided, the Jester was left unharmed, not even his clothes were singed. The Dancer shouted “Curses! He must have some sort of anti-dark fetish shield!” as he retreated to the shadows. The Jester pulled me up and escorted me the rest of the way here. As Sovereign Prince of this city, I declare payment to the Jester in the form of a Life Boon as well as award them the status of Loyal, Guardian, and Cherished.”

Mechanics: The Malkavian tells a story, and then makes a contested Social challenge, Retest Subterfuge, against anyone listening who he has included in the story. Anyone who fails their challenge believes the story to be true, with a memory of the event forming in their minds. The newly formed memory is treated as real, with all those affected at the same time having the same memory, just from their points of view. Any effects that allow for the altering/finding of memories can affect the memory formed as a result of this power.
