Custom Discipline

The Discipline of Sourcery was created by Cypher, a Duskborn with
a mastery of computer science and the occult, and crosses the line
between technology and magic. The Sourcerer can use the power of
his will to bend systems, applications, technological gadgets and
the like as he wishes.
It is necessary to have the same level of the Ability Computers,
Computer Hacking, Technology or System Operations, whichever has
the highest level in order to learn the desired level of Sourcery.
Sourcery retests are done through the Ability Computers, Computer
Hacking, Technology or System Operations, whichever has the
highest level.

0 - Technical Interface
Using this basic level of the Discipline, the Sourcerer connects,
through touch, to a technology device.
With a static Mental roll, he may connect and operate a device,
execute small instructions and code changes.

00 - Electric Induction
The second basic level of Sourcery allows its user to charge a
device/machine.
When spending a blood point, an adaptable voltaic arc is
transferred through touch between the user and the device, so that
it can be used without a battery or even a connected power source.
During this process it is possible to repair burnt out hardware
and then operate it using “Technical Interface”

000 – Wi-Fi
The first intermediate level of this discipline allows a Sourcerer
to see Radio Frequency signals as bright lines and connect to
them.
With the proper Mental static test he can then run a scan,
discover devices connected to each of these bright lines and then
break into them, whether through brute force, exploits or whatever
technique he can master.
While using this power he may attempt to decipher the data packets
being transported with a mental roll, the difficulty based on the
encryption level and always at Storyteller's discretion.

0000 - Programming Language
The second intermediate level of this discipline allows the
Sourcerer to communicate with the Software from devices, programs,
websites, etc. At this level the boundaries between the Weaver's
mysticism and vampiric powers begin to blur.
With the expenditure of a blood point and a social static test,
the user can communicate intelligently with the system and the
level of information will depend on the complexity of the target
program.
For example, a registration software will have limited answers
about its own context, while an advanced AI will be able to
converse as if it were a human and answer numerous questions and
even question the Cybermancer.
The level of information available will always be at the
Storyteller's discretion.

00000 – Jack-in
At the advanced level of Sourcery, the user, through the
expenditure of two points of blood and one temporary point of
willpower, is capable to transfer their consciousness and vital
energy into the Digital Web using the Astral Immersion.
Also, while in Digital Web the user can activate the second
intermediate level of Sourcery “Programming Language”, without
restrictions, in order to help him to communicate with the
denizens of that dimension.
During the usage of this level of Discipline the user's physical
body remains in a state of torpor. Should his body be destroyed,
the Sourcerer's spirit will be forever trapped within the system.
