Custom Blood Magic: Ritual
Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.

Seshat, Daughter/Wife of Thoth ((Stories greatly conflict in this area)), is a Goddess ((Aeon)) rarely worshiped, but who touches the lives of every man, woman, and child every day. She is the Goddess of Astronomy/Astrology, mathematics, and measurement of time.
Sealing away Seshat is a Milk of Set to distance oneself or another from the influence of Seshat, who has locked us into a never ending cycle of rules and mandates dictated by clocks, watches, and timepieces everywhere, and thus enforces and strengthens the law and order imposed by Ma'at.
For the eternal, the strict adherence to the concept of time, the measurement of which was invented by Seshat and taught to mortals, only stands in the way of their progress and development.
To anyone under the effects of Sealing away Seshat, there is little difference between an hour, day, week, or month. If they do not choose to spend the willpower to stay awake during the day, they will awake the next evening feeling as if they had just dozed off for a moment, and should they happen to glance at the newspaper to note the change of days, within minutes they will simply forget their revelation.
To create a preparation of Sealing away Seshat, the Lector-Priest must create an infusion of Skullcap, Valerian, Blue Lotus petal, and Psilocybin mushrooms, all of which have a notable effect on how the body perceives time. This is added to ink, bestowing upon any book written with it a measure of it's power. A book, scroll, or other document so inscribed will confound the readers sense of time until the reader has finished reading it in it's entirety, and the reader will be unable to skim or skip through it, as the trance causes them to read and understand every word. Nothing short of a situation in which the reader is placed in direct danger will awaken them from the trance caused by reading the book. This application does not, however, increase or decrease the amount of time the reader will take to read said book. After this effect has ended, the effect of the Milk shall be used up, however as the ink remains in the pages, should the book be soaked in a preparation of Sealing away Seshat, the book will 'drink' the Milk in to recover it's properties until read again. This may also be done to add additional uses to the book.
While under the influence of Sealing away Seshat, which lasts up to one week per preparation, the imbiber will have no concept of the passing of time. There are a number of benefits and drawbacks to this, many of which are at Storyteller discretion, however it is advised that the character only needs to spend 1 willpower for every 3 hours to stay awake during the day, so long as they are never exposed to combat or take damage, which will instantly negate this benefit. Sealing away Seshat has no ability to mitigate or reduce the effects of exposure to sunlight, however if the user remains indoors they may very well not realize that night has become day, and vice versa, and may continue their activities unhindered by the lethargy caused by the sunrise.
Required rituals: milk of a set: makes drugs more addictive (Basic) and Typhons Brew.
Ritual level: Basic. Casting time: Ten minutes.
Description: By using various organs from a dead drug addict, the Lector Priest is able to enhance the qualities of regular drugs. Enhancing their effects for ghouls, and allowing kindred to imbibe them as normal.
This quality lasts until the drug is imbibed.
Mechanics: The lector Priest needs to obtain the organs and skull of a dead drug addict.
The organ needs to be associated with the way the drug is used. (I.e. lungs for marijuana, veins/arteries or a heart for injected drugs such as heroin. Brain for shrooms or cocaine.)
The organ must be dried out and ground up into a fine dust. After which it is mixed with one trait of the priests vitae. Then poured into the skull through an opening through which the drug is normally taken.
(I.e. shrooms and pot through the mouth. Cocaine through the nose, heroin through the eyeballs.)
Then the drug is added to the mix through the same opening. And left to sit under the light of a full moon while the Priest offers a prayer to Sutekh, speaking blasphemies of Heka, goddess of medicine.
Any living mortal taking the drug must succeed at a contested physical challenge vs. the priests social traits for the ritual. Otherwise suffer from the effects of necrotizing fasciitis.
Ghouls taking the drugs are effected by an enhanced euphoria as the experience is greater then any they could have on normal drugs. Though the chance of overdose is the same as taking normal drugs.
And kindred imbibing the drugs are affected as if they are able to do so naturally. As a mundane high.
The ritual on the drugs last until they are imbibed.
Each casting of the ritual is good for one pound/liter/kilo of the drug being mixed in.
The world of Aye is the mortal world of flesh. While all life requires a connection to Orun, all strength is equally born of Aye and Orun, for without muscle, reflex, and form, even the strongest will would come to naught. By grounding the drinker more fully in the world of Aye, the momentary surges and weaknesses of strength brought about by will, emotions, and the coaxing of Orun fade, and one's bodily power is more fully governed by their naturally developed constitution. This concept has been a favorite of warriors for centuries, who have found various ways to test themselves against each other in pure physical competition, unfettered by the sinews of the other realms.
System: This brownish potion is created by chipping holes into a stone that sits in an unspoiled natural environment. The bezoar of a large mammal is then placed on top of the stone, and clear, natural spring water poured over it to collect in the stone's holes. The stone must then be elevated, and allowed to sit until it has both been rained on and then baked dry by the sun. The stone is then squeezed, and the blood that oozes from it forms this potion.
When consumed, the imbiber's Aye and physical form become ascendant. This potion takes effect instantly and then ends. All temporary arcane and spiritual effects currently effecting the recipient give way and are undone as their body's natural state is brought forcefully to the fore and their normal health is restored. Physical damage is not undone, and discipline effects, being of both Aye and Orun, are not affected, but thaumaturgy is. As a side effect of this potion, the imbiber loses ties on willpower challenges for the duration of the scene as they lack the will and resolve that stem from the world of Orun.
Consumption of this potion while "Sympathetic Disruption of Orun" is in effect will nullify both affects and cause the recipient to fall completely unresponsive for a turn, unable to act as the two effects consume each other and they are overwhelmingly assaulted with the feeling of pure Aye; frail mortality.
This potion only takes effect when it enters the system through consumption, which may be done once per combat round as a reflexive action. Forcing someone else to consume a potion requires an action and a physical challenge.
(Advanced, requires observation of Aye and Orun to learn
According to the Yoruben faith and many African religions, the mortal world of Aye and the spirit world of Orun together make up the fabric of this world. It is through this interconnection of the worlds that Shamans place their blessings and curses upon the members and lands of their communities. As creatures of both worlds, vampires form a bridge between the two, fully functioning only when they are attuned to both worlds. This potion creates a hazy disruptive distortion in the world of Orun around the inbiber, eating it's way through their aura into the surrounding area and isolating them from emanations originating in the spirit world.
System: this odorless, nearly invisible silvery liquid tastes vaguely of iron and water. It is collected like dew by leaving a consecrated phial invested with up to 3 traits of the caster's willpower in a place of spiritual death, devoid of life or activity on any layer of existence besides the mundane realm. Should a single entity other than the harvester enter the phial's vicinity during the month it takes to collect, the potion will be ruined. Likewise, if the vial is ever unstoppered it will be ruined at the end of the scene if it has not been consumed.
Once per night when consumed, tendrils of spiritual annulment spread through the drinker's veins, and into their aura, from which they leak out into the surrounding worlds. For the duration of one scene or hour, the first magical effects, (up to a number equal to the willpower spent at casting) targeting the imbiber will fail to take hold as their pattern is cut off from the the arcane energies that weave and empower such effects.
Any magic that would cause purely instant, direct, mundane damage is unaffected by this power, as it is manifested at the caster's location rather than the imbiber's. Arcane healing effects on the drinker, however, are negated entirely. Disciplines, like vampires, function on both Aye and Orun, and thus are unaffected, but thaumaturgy is. As a side effect of this potion, the imbiber's self-control/instinct is considered 1 lower for the duration of the effect as their centering is disrupted by the spiritual imbalance surrounding them.
This potion only takes effect when it enters the system through consumption, which may be done once per combat round as a reflexive action. Forcing someone else to consume a potion requires an action and a physical challenge.
Thaumaturgy: Milk of Set: Attraction of Venus (basic), Road of Sin pg 74
The Water of Venus is a headily aromatic substance, carrying a densely tangled scent of flowers and herbs and sweet resins with a subtle hint of vitae, dark red in hue, which the Citizens of Typhon Trismegistus give out in thinned form during the Aphrodisiac revels. Diluted in oil (or bath water) and worn as a perfume, the water arouses the senses of all who smell it and draws their attention to the wearer.
System: The perfume created through this ritual confers two Appearance-related Social Traits for an evening on a Cainite wearing it, though during this time the Cainite wearing the perfume uses their temporary Willpower total rather than their permanent Willpower rating in any challenges to resist desire. While they may not be bid, the social traits may be counted in ties and overbids even if it goes over the Kindred’s generational maximum. This power may not be “stacked" for additional positive social traits. Each casting of this ritual creates enough for single use of the 'perfume' (which lasts a maximum of 24 hours unless washed away earlier).
Cast onto an amulet, this power gives 3 bonus traits on any leadership, subterfudge or intimidation challenge. Chosen at the time of casting the amulet. If the person using the amulet is non-faithful (those who dont follow set's teachings or have a code of honor to set) they are down the same amount of traits on all challenges against the caster of the amulet. The amulet must be bathed in blood once per week or it will dissolve into dust. The blood is absorbed into a prepared coptic jar.
When this salve is applied to a Ward created by blood magic, it breaks it down into its separate ritual components, one at a time, destroying the ward. The salve must be applied directly to the ward, and if the user is of the appropriate creature type must take damage as He pulls each component out. Level of the Ritual is determined by the level of the corresponding ward. Example: Kindred = Intermediate
Distilled with the use of an imprisonment shrine, when created this Milk of Set strips one Physical, Mental or Social trait from the Ab imprisoned at the shrine and gives them to the user of the Milk of Set. The Milk of Set also gives the user a negative trait the target had in that category. The effects last for a scene or an hour, whichever is shorter, or until the trait is lost. Multiple uses of this ritual cannot be stacked. This Milk of Set may only be used by the person who cast the Imprisonment Shrine

The Follower removes their left eye, crushes it, and combines it with a mixture of their own blood and Milk of Set, then pours the mixture into their now empty left eye socket while offer prayers to Anubis and his daughter Kebechet. A new all black eye forms which the Follwer can now perceive Anubis' realm of Duat.
System:
The Setite willing removes their left eye and suffers one level of unsoakbale aggravated damage which they cannot heal until they end the ritual. A trait of blood is used with another dose of Milk of Set previously created. This mixture is poured into the Setites left eye socket and creates a ghastly all black eye. It gives them the negative Social Trait: Ghastly if the black eye is visible. Once the casting is complete, the Setite can see and hear Wraiths and the Shadowlands. While the ritual is in effect the Follower suffers from the Flaw: One Eye and gains the Negative Trait: Oblivious due to the uncommon viewing and hearing of wraiths.. The ritual normally ends at sunrise when the Setite goes to sleep or it can be ended early by removing the eye and healing the damage.
When applied to a individual this Milk of Set will nullify the effects of any Thantosis used against them, but only if the person using Thanatosis was taught by Fetus Kevorkian (Kenosha MM PC at the time of creation). Due to the fickle nature of the magic, only the caster of the Milk of Set or Fetus Kevorkian may use it. The protection lasts for one night. This ritual requires a blood trait from Fetus to be cast.
Milk of Set: Gift of Taweret
Advanced Akhu Ritual (6XP)
Made by Yoshua Daimon, Follower of Set, Citizen.
This unguent is based on ancient recipes of the goddess Tawaret, protector of mothers and children, made to protect against magic attacks.
This unguent is made following a formula which includes a mix of the alchemist blood (ritualist), hippo sweat (since Tawared is a god with head and body of a hippopotamus), sand, aloe, and ritualistics spices, praying for a half hour asking for Tawaret protection. Once finished and applied on the whole body, the wearer of this unguent is protected against the next Magic attack made against him until the next sunrise.
System:
This silvered unguent needs to be applied to the whole body, and can be applied to anyone, but needs to be done by the priest who made the unguent while praying for Tawaret protection over the target. After applying and until the next sunrise, the wearer is protected against the next Magic Attack (Blood Magic, True Magic, or Hedge Magic). It is necessary to define first which type of magic this unguent will protect against, and only one version of it may be active each time.
The next Magic attack, of the selected type, made against the wearer is canceled and has no effect, at this time, the ritual stops to work, and the wearer sweats the unguent in a hippo smell, taking on Repulsive x2 Negative Traits for the scene, or one hour (what last first).
This ritual does not protect against area attack, only attacks that have the wearer as a unique target.
