Custom Blood Magic: Ritual
Some chronicles allow for their players to develop customized powers for their characters. The following is a compilation of player created custom content in OWBN. At this time, custom content that is created and/or used by vampire PC's is required to be listed.
the effects would be to render inert any sympathetic links that are the casters. This will NOT stop the true name mechanic. (No escaping paper flesh) The caster must sacrifice a permanent willpower to cast this ritual once per year. If they would like to cast this more than once per year the permanent willpower cost should be multiplicative ( I cast it 3 times in one year, 5 permanent willpower expended.) the cast of this needs to be logged on the character sheet at the time of casting. Any other sympathetic link gained after this time still works as intended.
If this is cast on another recipient they must also make the same permanent willpower expenditure that is also multiplicative. The process is a three hour ritual starting at sunset the participant is unconscious as they are receiving the blessing. Upon walking up the recipient must make a frenzy test difficulty 3 to stave off a hunger frenzy.
Any sympathetic links the caster possesses over the recipient WILL still work normally.
The caster must be included in the notation of this ritual.
Ritual components: Freshly shed Egyptian cobra skin. A clay tablet depicting death and rebirth soaked in 10 blood traits of the recipient of the ritual. These blood traits are not replenished until the completion of the ritual.
