2023 - Ventrue - Ann Willis
Introduction and Background:
Hello,
My name is Ann Willis, I am currently serving as a CM for NEN, and ST for multiple games in my area as well as a Lasombra Subcoord. In the past, I have served the organization as the Historian Coordinator and an Archivist. I have been playing in OWBN since 2004. I currently play a Ventrue Anti on the sabbat side of things and intend to set her aside should I be elected to this position. I generally am easy to work with and have no issue speaking my mind. I do not play games on things and will give straight answers as a coordinator. If you are turned down for something you will recieve a reason why and it will be evenly applied accross all players/games. I work in HR and know how to set aside any personal feelings and handle the matter at hand. I currently work from home and therefore am in front of my computer a lot to have very open office hours. My intended office hours through New Years would be Sunday-Friday 9am- 9pm EST with Saturdays off so I can enjoy one day with my husband a week.

Meu nome é Ann Willis, atualmente atuo como CM da NEN e ST para vários jogos em minha área, bem como Subcoord Lasombra. No passado, servi a organização como Historiador Coordenador e Arquivista. Tenho jogado na OWBN desde 2004. Atualmente jogo uma Ventrue Anti no lado do sabá e pretendo deixá-la de lado caso eu seja eleito para esta posição. Geralmente sou fácil de trabalhar e não tenho problemas em falar o que penso. Não faço brincadeiras e darei respostas diretas como coordenador. Se você for rejeitado por alguma coisa, receberá um motivo e isso será aplicado uniformemente a todos os jogadores/jogos. Trabalho com RH e sei como deixar de lado quaisquer sentimentos pessoais e lidar com o assunto em questão. Atualmente trabalho em casa e por isso fico muito na frente do computador para ter um horário de expediente bem aberto. Meu horário de expediente pretendido durante o Ano Novo seria de domingo a sexta, das 9h às 21h EST, com folga aos sábados, para que eu possa desfrutar de um dia por semana com meu marido.
Administrative Experience:
I have served in various positions through the years and this list are the highlights: Historian, Archivist, Subcoordinator for Gangrel, Subcoordinator for Lasombra, AST for Sabbat Genre, Anarch Genre, Garou Genre, Camarilla Genre, Player Rep, CM for Never Ending Nights. Outside of the Org: I currently work for a company in their HR department as a member of a payroll team and also serve as my companies "I broke this make it work" person outside of IT.

Personal Statement:
I would like to get the Ventrue office through this rough time and get things running like the well oiled machine that the Directorate should function as. While this is only one portion of the genre I do believe that all sides of the genre could use a look to ensure that people are being communicated with on all levels. The worst feeling as a player is that your coordinator is against you or doesn't care about their players. I can promise that I am not going to roll in and make sweeping changes. That is the path of failure, what I can promise is that I will come in, see what is functioning well, what isn't functioning and apply fixes that will work for long term rather than short term. On the Camarilla side the Ventrue office is very robust and involved in a lot of things which I have some knowledge of already, so I believe that it would not take me very long to get the scenes that may remain pending resolved or atleast answered so they can continue.

Eu gostaria de fazer o escritório Ventrue passar por esse momento difícil e fazer as coisas funcionarem como a máquina bem oleada que a Diretoria deveria funcionar. Embora esta seja apenas uma parte do gênero, acredito que todos os lados do gênero poderiam usar uma aparência para garantir que as pessoas estejam se comunicando em todos os níveis. A pior sensação como jogador é que o seu coordenador está contra você ou não se importa com os jogadores dele. Posso prometer que não vou entrar e fazer mudanças radicais. Esse é o caminho do fracasso, o que posso prometer é que irei entrar, ver o que está funcionando bem, o que não está funcionando e aplicar soluções que funcionarão a longo prazo e não a curto prazo. Do lado da Camarilla, o escritório dos Ventrue é muito robusto e envolvido em muitas coisas das quais já tenho algum conhecimento, então acredito que não levaria muito tempo para que as cenas que possam permanecer pendentes sejam resolvidas ou pelo menos respondidas. pode continuar.
Goals:
My 30 day plan:
Meet with Derek and get the temperature of the office and what remains pending after his interim period.
Complete any outstanding email tasks such as approvals and notifications to the archvist office.
Complete or push forward with any remaining outstanding scenes.
Check on the Ventrue discord server and see if there is anything outstanding that needs coordinator attention or response.
60 day Plan:
Setup the office for a potential transition when elections happen should I not be retained.
I intend to run for Ventrue Coordinator in the upcoming election as well.
-See if there already is a writeup of clan heirarchy/contact list and if not get one in place so that folks know who is where in the clan and how to communicate with them best to forward interclan communications and interclan faction interactions.

Preparar o escritório para uma transição potencial quando as eleições acontecerem, caso eu não seja contratado.
Pretendo concorrer a Coordenador Ventrue nas próximas eleições também.
-Veja se já existe uma lista de hierarquia/contato do clã e se não, coloque uma em vigor para que as pessoas saibam quem está em que parte do clã e como se comunicar melhor com eles para encaminhar comunicações entre clãs e interações entre facções entre clãs.
