Hello everyone!
How are you?

My name is Pedro Diniz and I'm running for Nosferatu Coordinator!

I've been a member of OWBN since 2007. Currently, I play with my Nosferatu (First PC) CH, Angelus (Sabbat), Dharr Dhul Fiqa (Assamite), Mattia Giovanni, and Juan Carlos (Setite).

I was part of the Nosferatu team as Sub-Coordinator between 2010 and 2014 and as AHC in 2021 and 2022. Currently, I am HST and CM for the Recife by Night chronicle and ST for the Mossoró by Night chronicle (IT).

Outside of OWBN, I work in IT at CI&T where I work in Quality Assurance and as a Paid Traffic Manager. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a postgraduate degree in Agile Project Management, and courses in Leadership and Communication.

Outside of work, I have fun with the players I commentate on (Yes, I not only commentate, but I have fun with them too), I brew beer at home (After all, we all need a hobby, don't we?) and, modesty aside, I'm a first-rate cook.

Me chamo Pedro Diniz e estou concorrendo para Coordenador Nosferatu!



Eu participo da OWBN desde 2007. Atualmente jogo com meu Nosferatu (Primeiro PC) CH, Angelus (Sabbat), Dharr Dhul Fiqa (Assamita), Mattia Giovanni e Juan Carlos (Setita). 



Fiz parte do time Nosferatu como Sub Coord entre nos anos 2010 e 2014 e como AHC em 2021 e 2022 e atualmente sou HST e CM da crônica Recife by Night e ST da crônica Mossoró by Night (TI).

Fora da OWBN, trabalho com TI na CI&T onde atuo como Quality Assurance além de trabalhar como Gestor de Tráfego Pago, tenho bacharelado em Ciência da Computação, Pós graduação em Gestão Ágil de Projetos e cursos na área de Liderança e Comunicação. 



Fora do trabalho, me divirto com os jogadores da minha crônica (Sim, não apenas narro, mas me divirto igualmente com eles), faço cerveja em casa (Afinal todos nós precisamos de um Hobbie não é?) e modéstia parte sou um cozinheiro de primeira.

Personal Statement:

I've been playing Nosferatu since I joined OWBN and it's by far my top 3 genres! My candidacy for Coordinator this year is precisely because of my love for the clan and the genre.

Over the years I've noticed that the new Nosferatu genre is a union of what happens in OWBN games and the official Nosferatu Clan books from White Wolf, but this has caused problems and confusion, whether due to a lack of updated materials that often leaves game masters helpless.

Going a little further, this lack of written content has created a barrier that prevents the Clan from renewing with new players and the return of old ones, because they simply don't know where to start or restart, especially with the changes over the years where technology and advancements necessitate updated materials to make the games more dynamic and closer to the Nosferatu genre. Over the years I've noticed that the genre has gradually moved away from what I believe to be the Nosferatu genre, based on the official White Wolf books, and this departure has led many players to abandon their characters precisely because they no longer identify with the genre being played in the OWBN. Whether due to lack of knowledge or interest.

The main strength of the Nosferatu clan lies in its ability to operate anonymously in the underworld, taking advantage of the absence of sect distinctions and promoting constant exchanges of information. However, this advantage was compromised by the separation of the Nosferatu from the Camarilla and the Sabbat. This has generated a series of challenges, especially regarding the inadequate understanding by some of the nature of the Nosferatu clan and its factions.

Some Staffers, lacking a deep understanding of the Nosferatu clan, incorporate Sabbat Nosferatu inappropriately, sometimes following the mistaken idea of ​​using Warren and its spaces restricted to Nosferatu, in addition to a lack of distinction between Warren and Sewer, which in my view contributes to the confusion.

To overcome these challenges, it is crucial to promote a more comprehensive understanding of the Nosferatu clan and its internal dynamics. Furthermore, it is necessary to clarify the difference between Warren and Sewer, thus avoiding incorrect interpretations and improving the gaming experience for everyone involved.

Update, Unity, and Speed. These three words are small representations of the work I intend to develop with my team. Updating the genre, plots, and staff; unity among all players, teams, and chronicles; and finally, speed in decision-making.

Jogo com Nosferatu desde que entrei na OWBN e é de longe meu top 3 gêneros! Minha candidatura para ser Coordenador esse ano é justamente o amor que tenho pelo clã e pelo gênero.

Ao longo dos anos pude perceber que o novo gênero Nosferatu é uma união do que acontece nos jogos da OWBN e os livros oficiais do Clã Nosferatu na White Wolf, mas isso tem causado problema e confusão, seja pela falta de atualização de materiais que muitas vezes acarreta no desamparo dos narradores.

Indo um pouco além, essa falta de conteúdo escrito tem criado uma barreira que impede a renovação do Clã com novos jogadores e a volta de antigos, pois simplesmente eles não sabem por onde começar ou recomeçar, ainda mais com as mudanças ao longo dos anos onde a tecnologia e os avanços fazem a necessidade de uma atualização do material para tornar os jogos mais dinâmicos próximo do gênero Nosferatu. 

 Ao longo dos anos pude perceber que o gênero foi pouco a pouco de afastando do que eu acredito ser o gênero nosferatu, com base nos livros oficiais da White Wolf, e esse afastamento fez muitos jogadores abandonarem seus personagens justamente por não se identificarem mais com o gênero que estava a ser jogado na OWBN. Seja por falta de conhecimento ou interesse.

A principal força do clã Nosferatu reside na sua habilidade de operar anonimamente no submundo, aproveitando a ausência de distinções de seita e promovendo constantes trocas de informações. No entanto, essa vantagem foi comprometida com a separação dos Nosferatu da Camarilla e do Sabá. Isso gerou uma série de desafios, especialmente no que diz respeito à compreensão inadequada por parte de alguns sobre a natureza do clã Nosferatu e suas facções.

Alguns STs, sem um entendimento aprofundado do clã Nosferatu, incorporam Nosferatu do Sabá de maneira inadequada, às vezes seguindo a ideia equivocada de utilização do warren e seus espaços restritos aos Nosferatus, além de uma falta de distinção entre warren e esgoto, que ao meu ver contribui para a confusão.

Para superar esses desafios, é crucial promover uma compreensão mais abrangente do clã Nosferatu e suas dinâmicas internas. Além disso, é necessário esclarecer a diferença entre Warren e Esgoto, evitando assim interpretações incorretas e melhorando a experiência de jogo para todos os envolvidos.

Atualização, União e Rapidez. Essas três palavras são pequenas representações do trabalho que pretendo desenvolver com meu time. Atualização do gênero, plots e staff, união entre todos jogadores, times e crônicas e finalmente rapidez na tomada de decisões.


Goals:

  1. Response time between 48-72h
  2. Continue the unification of the Nosferatu genre
  3. Constant cleaning and moderation of the Clan's communication channels, promoting anonymity and good coexistence policies.
  4. Suggest to the STs the adaptation of the Brazilian Nosferatu genre to the OWBN Nosferatu genre.
  5. Creation of a recurring newspaper, with various information about what is currently happening within the OWBN. All chronicles can participate and the players as well. It will be a way to integrate players/NPCs from different locations.
  6. Development of plots exclusively for the Nosferatu Clan, as a way to reinforce the genre and create opportunities for development and roleplay. Be it Clan scavenger hunts, creation of a newspaper with news of what is happening in the chronicles around the org among other news
  7. Nosferatu Package Update
    1. The current package is outdated, my main goal is to update the package as soon as possible.
    2. The new package will tell the updated story of the Clan, mainly with the changes that have occurred within OWBN, it will be a base for new players and STS.
    3. The new package will include information about Nosferatu Clan knowledge (Clan, Warren, Shrek Net), Clan Prestige, Warren (Add-ons).
    4. The new package will contain updated mechanics, it will contain updated qualities, combos, possible new mechanics and new suggestions for narrators and players.
    5. The Nosferatu Team will provide constant assistance to all chronicles. The Nosferatu genre needs a lot of care and we will provide all the necessary support for the creation of plots, characters (PCs and NPCs).
    6. The Nosferatu Team will work on the constant migration of the means of communication, seeking to bring the biggest and greatest information, plots and announcements to the official Nosferatu Clan DISCORD.
    7. The Nosferatu Team will work to integrate the genre, maintaining the particularities of each region.
  8. Team Nosferatu – If they meet the requirements, I will maintain the current Nosferatu team. I intend to hire new Sub Coordinators for Brazil as quickly as possible. Members of the Nosferatu team cannot have active characters within the Nosferatu genre.

  2. Continuar a unificação do gênero Nosferatu 
  3. Limpeza e moderação constante dos meios de comunicação do Clã, promovendo o anonimato e políticas de boa convivência. 
  4. Sugerir aos STs adequação do gênero Nosferatu Brasileiro para o gênero Nosferatu OWBN.
  5. Criação de um jornal recorrente, com diversas informações sobre o que acontece atualmente dentro do OWBN. Todas as crónicas podem participar e os jogadores também. Será uma forma de integrar os jogadores/NPC de diferentes localidades.
  6. Desenvolvimentos de plots unicamente para o Clã Nosferatu, como forma de reforçar o gênero e criar oportunidades de desenvolvimento e roleplay. Seja gincanas do Clã, criação de um jornal com novidades do que acontece nas crônicas ao redor do org entre outras novidades
  7. Atualização do Pacote Nosferatu
    1. O pacote atual está desatualizado, meu principal objetivo é atualizar o pacote o mais breve possível.
    2. O novo pacote vai contar a história do Clã atualizada, principalmente com as mudanças ocorridas dentro do OWBN, ele vai ser uma base para novos jogadores e STS.
    3. O novo pacote vai contar com informações sobre conhecimentos do Clã Nosferatu (Clã, Warren, Shrek Net), Prestígio do Clã, Warren (Add-ons). 
    4. O novo pacote irá conter mecânicas atualizadas, nele vai conter atualização das qualidades, combos, possíveis novas mecânicas e novas sugestões para narradores e jogadores.
    5. O Time Nosferatu vai prestar auxílio constante para todas as crônicas. O gênero Nosferatu precisa de bastante cuidado e vamos prestar todo suporte necessário para criação de plots, personagens (PCs e NPCs)
    6. O Time Nosferatu vai trabalhar na migração constante do meio de comunicação, buscando levar as grandes e maiores informações, plots e anúncios para o DISCORD oficial do Clã Nosferatu.
    7. O Time Nosferatu vai trabalhar para integrar o gênero, mantendo as particularidades de cada região.
  8. Time Nosferatu – Caso se enquadrem, irei manter o time Nosferatu atual. Pretendo o mais rápido possível contratar novos Sub Coord para o Brasil. Membros do time Nosferatu não podem ter personagens ativos dentro do gênero Nosferatu.
