2026 - Followers of Set - Kris Maxwell
Introduction and Background:
Well hey there! You might know me, you might not. I've been a regular at some events and never made others. I'm Kris Maxwell, and have a LOT of characters. I've been in the org since 2000 or so, and in that time I have run games as AST, ST, HST, worked on Council for a bit as CM, helped Coords out as Narrarators at events, helped STs out as Narrarators at events, run plot, and held almost every position the game has to offer. Recently I had a number of people chat with me about stepping up to be the Follower of Set Coord. I have support from the current Cam Coord, Current Giovanni Coord, Current Mummy Coord, Current Web Coord, Current FoS Coord, Current Tremere Coord, and am happy to step into a national role on the OOC side, assuming I win. For full transparency, I do have a Child of Damballah PC. Should I win, that PC will be placed on the shelf and untouched for as long as I am coord.
I have played in every genre OWBN has, Vampire, Garou, Changing Breeds, Mage, Technocracy, Changeling, Wraith, Hunter, Sorcerer, and as a mortal or two with no idea with the Staff was going to throw at me. It's all for fun, which is why we're here.

Olá! Talvez você me conheça, talvez não. Frequento alguns eventos regularmente, mas nunca participei de outros. Meu nome é Kris Maxwell e tenho MUITOS personagens. Estou na organização desde 2000, mais ou menos, e nesse tempo já mestrei jogos como Mestre de Jogo, Narrador, Mestre de História, trabalhei no Conselho por um tempo como Mestre de Jogo, ajudei Coordenadores como Narradores em eventos, ajudei Narradores como Narradores em eventos, conduzi a trama e ocupei quase todas as posições que o jogo oferece. Recentemente, várias pessoas me procuraram para falar sobre a possibilidade de eu me candidatar a Coordenador de Seguidores de Set. Tenho o apoio do atual Coordenador de Cam, do atual Coordenador Giovanni, do atual Coordenador Múmia, do atual Coordenador Web, do atual Coordenador FoS, do atual Coordenador Tremere e estou feliz em assumir um papel nacional no lado OOC, caso eu vença. Para total transparência, tenho um personagem jogador Filho de Damballah. Se eu ganhar, esse PC será colocado na prateleira e intocado enquanto eu for o coordenador.
Já joguei em todos os gêneros que a OWBN oferece: Vampiro, Garou, Raças Mutantes, Mago, Tecnocracia, Metamorfo, Espectro, Caçador, Feiticeiro e até como um ou dois mortais sem a menor ideia do que o Cajado ia me reservar. É tudo por diversão, e é por isso que estamos aqui.
Administrative Experience:
Well, lets see, I am an OOC bureaucrat. I love email, Discord, Live Events (when I can make them), and I work professionally in the tech industry, where good records are life. So, I have a lot of admin experience in real life. For game, I've handled Paper sheets, Grapevine, Haller, and PP (rarely) on the sheet admin, player, and storyteller side. I prefer Haller personally, because of it's online capabilities and current update status. (Hope that doesn't cost me votes! LOL) I've helped run events, from preparing sheets and going through them to running the actual combats and scenes involved.
Administrative Experience (Portuguese):
Bem, vamos ver, sou um burocrata fora do jogo. Adoro e-mail, Discord, eventos ao vivo (quando consigo organizá-los) e trabalho profissionalmente na área de tecnologia, onde bons registros são essenciais. Então, tenho bastante experiência administrativa na vida real. Em jogos, já usei Paper Sheets, Grapevine, Haller e PP (raramente) como administrador de fichas, jogador e narrador. Prefiro o Haller pessoalmente, por causa de seus recursos online e atualizações constantes. (Espero que isso não me custe votos! rsrs) Já ajudei a organizar eventos, desde a preparação e revisão das fichas até a condução dos combates e cenas.
Personal Statement:
I enjoy this game, and I love the Follower of Set genre. I've gotten very involved with the team the last two years and had a blast helping out, having genre discussions, mapping out magic and the new magic packets, and finding artwork for different things from local museums. I am very excited to continue working on the genre, helping it advance, and bringing it out of NPC enemy territory. Yes, FoS can be ST NPC foils. So can Gangrel, Malkavians, Ventrue, and every other type of Vampire or Supernatural out there. I want to bring the focus back to the PC's. After all, the genre depends on players representing it. I have an idea or two for a national plot, and some local concepts to bring to the table if I win. If I lose, I'd be happy to discuss those concepts with whoever wins. I'm here for the genre, not the politics. :)

Eu adoro este jogo e amo o gênero Seguidor de Set. Tenho me envolvido bastante com a equipe nos últimos dois anos e me diverti muito ajudando, participando de discussões sobre o gênero, mapeando a magia e os novos pacotes de magia, e encontrando ilustrações para diferentes itens em museus locais. Estou muito animado para continuar trabalhando no gênero, ajudando-o a avançar e tirando-o do território dos NPCs inimigos. Sim, Seguidores de Set podem ser antagonistas dos NPCs do Narrador. Assim como Gangrel, Malkavianos, Ventrue e todos os outros tipos de vampiros ou seres sobrenaturais. Quero trazer o foco de volta para os jogadores. Afinal, o gênero depende de jogadores que o representem. Tenho uma ou duas ideias para uma trama nacional e alguns conceitos locais para apresentar caso eu vença. Se eu perder, ficarei feliz em discutir esses conceitos com quem vencer. Estou aqui pelo gênero, não pela política. :)
Goals:
1) Respond to everything at least once a week. I'd like to promise 24, 48, or even 72 hours, but lets be realistic, sometimes life happens. I prefer to set realistic goals and then beat them as much as I can.
2) Expand the Genre packet and Cults a bit. Alex and the team did some good work, I'd like to keep that momentum.
3) Bring out at least one National plot - Plot isn't everything, but let's face it, it's why we play the game. Having a large scale plot brings people to the genre, has people interact with the genre, and makes the game more fun for everyone.
4) Bring out at least 3 Local plot's that can be run in your home game, without needing national attention.
Goals (Portuguese):
1) Responder a tudo pelo menos uma vez por semana. Gostaria de prometer 24, 48 ou até 72 horas, mas sejamos realistas, imprevistos acontecem. Prefiro definir metas realistas e tentar superá-las sempre que possível.
2) Expandir um pouco o pacote de Gêneros e Cultos. Alex e a equipe fizeram um ótimo trabalho, e gostaria de manter esse ritmo.
3) Lançar pelo menos uma trama nacional. A trama não é tudo, mas sejamos sinceros, é por isso que jogamos. Uma trama de grande escala atrai pessoas para o gênero, promove a interação entre os jogadores e torna o jogo mais divertido para todos.
4) Lançar pelo menos 3 tramas locais que possam ser jogadas em sua mesa, sem a necessidade de atenção nacional.
