Applicant Name:
Jason Watson
Applicant Email: Home Chronicle:

Introduction and Background:

My name is Jason Watson. I have been an avid gamer for most of my life and have long been involved with OWBN games, giving me a strong appreciation for structure, consistency, and attention to detail in maintaining shared resources. I take pride in delivering work that is both professional and precise, with an emphasis on ensuring that every update reflects the most current and accurate information available.

While I can sometimes come across as direct, my goal is always to uphold quality, clarity, and professionalism in everything I do. I’m passionate about supporting the integrity and accessibility of the materials our players and coordinators rely on, and I would welcome the opportunity to apply my administrative and organizational skills to this role.

Administrative Experience:

I have several years of hands-on experience managing digital systems, coordinating documentation, and ensuring organizational compliance across multiple professional and academic settings:

Governmental Compliance Management: For several years, I managed and maintained the digital file storage system for over 80 professional Governmental Compliance Inspectors, ensuring that reports, certifications, and audit documentation were properly cataloged, accessible, and compliant with procedural standards. This required exceptional attention to detail, version control, and confidentiality.

Student Government Administration: During my time in college, I served on the Student Government Board, where I rewrote the organization’s bylaws and constitution to modernize the structure, clarify procedural language, and improve operational efficiency. This experience gave me a strong understanding of governance processes and formal documentation standards.

Business Management & Data Processing: I also managed a data processing business for a small conglomerate of auto parts wholesalers, overseeing document flow, reporting accuracy, and compliance with both internal and external data requirements. This role reinforced my ability to maintain order and precision in fast-paced, multi-client environments.

Personal Statement:

I’ve always believed that structure is what transforms creativity into something lasting. Whether it’s a game world, a government system, or an organization built on collaboration, the details — the rules, the records, the updates — are what turn ideas into something that endures. I’ve made it my purpose to be the person who protects that structure: the one who ensures that information is accurate, processes are efficient, and the foundation is strong enough to support growth and imagination alike.

My passion for order and precision isn’t about bureaucracy — it’s about respect. Respect for the work people put in, for the systems that hold everything together, and for the trust others place in me to get it right. I take pride in being the person who catches the overlooked detail, who keeps the files clean, the data correct, and the documentation accessible. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s essential — and it’s work I’ve spent years working towards a position i never knew would exist.

Goals:

If selected, i would like to accomplish the following:

1. Maintain Up-to-Date and Accessible Information

Ensure that all website documents, downloadable packets, and enacted proposals are reviewed and updated within a set timeframe (My plan would be at first, within 96 hours of approval then when systems are in place to lower that to eventually 48 hours), keeping the community informed and aligned with the most current standards.

2. Establish a Clear Version Control System
Implement or refine a tracking method to ensure that all document changes are logged, versioned, and archived — preventing confusion or outdated materials from remaining in circulation.
