How are you?

My name is Pedro Diniz, and I am running for Nosferatu Coordinator!

I have been involved in OWBN since 2007. Currently, I play as my Nosferatu (First PC) CH, Angelus (Sabbat), Dharr Dhul Fiqa (Assamite), Mattia Giovanni, and Juan Carlos (Setite).

I served as Sub Coordinator for the Nosferatu team from 2010 to 2014 and as AHC in 2021 and 2022. Currently, I am the HST and CM of the Portugal by Night chronicle and the ST of the Mossoró by Night chronicle (TI). I have also been an ST in some Brazilian chronicles and currently serve as Sub Coord for Camarilla, Setite, and Malk.

Outside of OWBN, I work in IT at Noesis Portugal, where I am the Quality Assurance Manager. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a postgraduate degree in Agile Project Management, and additional courses in Leadership and Communication.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with the players in my chronicle (yes, I not only storytell but also have fun with them), brewing beer at home (after all, we all need a hobby, right?), and consider myself a skilled cook (special thanks to my friend and brother Edmilson who inspired me to cook and now enjoys cooking and drinking in the bars of heaven, Thanks Ed!!!)

Como estão?

Me chamo Pedro Diniz e estou concorrendo para Coordenador Nosferatu!

Eu participo da OWBN desde 2007. Atualmente jogo com meu Nosferatu (Primeiro PC) CH, Angelus (Sabbat), Dharr Dhul Fiqa (Assamita), Mattia Giovanni e Juan Carlos (Setita).

Fiz parte do time Nosferatu como Sub Coord entre nos anos 2010 e 2014 e como AHC em 2021 e 2022 e atualmente sou HST e CM da crônica Portugal by Night e ST da crônica Mossoró by Night (TI). Já fui também ST em algumas crônicas brasileiras e atualmente faço parte dos times Camarilla, Setita e Malk como Sub Coord.

Fora da OWBN, trabalho com TI na Noesis Portugal onde atuo como Quality Assurance Manager, tenho bacharelado em Ciência da Computação, Pós graduação em Gestão Ágil de Projetos e cursos na área de Liderança e Comunicação.

Fora do trabalho, me divirto com os jogadores da minha crônica (Sim, não apenas narro, mas me divirto igualmente com eles), faço cerveja em casa (Afinal todos nós precisamos de um Hobbie não é?) e modéstia parte sou um cozinheiro de primeira (E aqui vai um agradecimento especial ao amigo e irmão Edmilson que me inspirou a cozinhar e hoje cozinha e bebe nos bares do céu, Valeu Ed!!! )

Personal Statement:

I've been playing as a Nosferatu since I joined OWBN, and it's undoubtedly one of my top three genres! My candidacy for Coordinator this year is driven by the love I have for the clan and the genre.

Over the years, I've noticed that the new Nosferatu genre is a combination of what happens in OWBN games and the official Nosferatu Clan books from White Wolf. However, this has led to problems and confusion due to a lack of updated materials or support for storytellers.

Furthermore, this lack of written content has created a barrier hindering the clan's renewal with new players and the return of old ones. Many simply don't know where to start or restart.

I've observed that the genre has gradually deviated from what I believe to be the Nosferatu genre, based on the official White Wolf books. This deviation has caused many players to abandon their characters because they no longer identify with the genre being played in OWBN, whether due to lack of knowledge or interest.

The main strength of the Nosferatu clan lies in its ability to operate anonymously in the underworld, taking advantage of the absence of sect distinctions and promoting constant information exchanges. However, this advantage has been compromised with the separation of Nosferatu from the Camarilla and the Sabbat. This has led to various challenges, especially regarding the misunderstanding of some about the nature of the Nosferatu clan and its factions.

Some STs, without a deep understanding of the Nosferatu clan, incorporate Sabbat Nosferatu incorrectly, sometimes following the mistaken idea of using the warren and its spaces restricted to Nosferatu, along with a lack of distinction between warren and sewer, contributing to confusion from my perspective.

To overcome these challenges, it is crucial to promote a more comprehensive understanding of the Nosferatu clan and its internal dynamics. Additionally, clarifying the difference between Warren and Sewer is necessary to avoid misinterpretations and enhance the gaming experience for everyone involved.

Therefore, if elected, I intend to develop a plot (Internal Nosf Only) to unify the clan and bring the Nosferatu clan's most potent weapon back into the game.

Additionally, I will release an update to the Nosferatu Packet in the first few months, which has not been updated since 2009.

Jogo com Nosferatu desde que entrei na OWBN e é de longe meu top 3 gêneros!
Minha candidatura para ser Coordenador esse ano é justamente o amor que tenho pelo clã e pelo gênero.

Ao longo dos anos pude perceber que o novo gênero Nosferatu é uma união do que acontece nos jogos da OWBN e os livros oficiais do Clã Nosferatu na White Wolf, mas isso tem causado problema e confusão, seja pela falta de atualização de materiais ou desamparo para narradores.

Indo um pouco além, essa falta de conteúdo escrito tem criado uma barreira que impede a renovação do Clã com novos jogadores e a volta de antigos, pois simplesmente eles não sabem por onde começar ou recomeçar.

Ao longo dos anos pude perceber que o gênero foi pouco a pouco de afastando do que eu acredito ser o gênero nosferatu, com base nos livros oficiais da White Wolf, e esse afastamento fez muitos jogadores abandonarem seus personagens justamente por não se identificarem mais com o gênero que estava a ser jogado na OWBN. Seja por falta de conhecimento ou interesse.

A principal força do clã Nosferatu reside na sua habilidade de operar anonimamente no submundo, aproveitando a ausência de distinções de seita e promovendo constantes trocas de informações. No entanto, essa vantagem foi comprometida com a separação dos Nosferatu da Camarilla e do Sabá. Isso gerou uma série de desafios, especialmente no que diz respeito à compreensão inadequada por parte de alguns sobre a natureza do clã Nosferatu e suas facções.

Alguns STs, sem um entendimento aprofundado do clã Nosferatu, incorporam Nosferatu do Sabá de maneira inadequada, às vezes seguindo a ideia equivocada de utilização do warren e seus espaços restritos aos Nosferatus, além de uma falta de distinção entre warren e esgoto, que ao meu ver contribui para a confusão.

Para superar esses desafios, é crucial promover uma compreensão mais abrangente do clã Nosferatu e suas dinâmicas internas. Além disso, é necessário esclarecer a diferença entre Warren e Esgoto, evitando assim interpretações incorretas e melhorando a experiência de jogo para todos os envolvidos.

Portanto, se eleito for, pretendo elaborar uma plot (Interno Nosf Only) para unificar o clã e trazer a maior arma dos nosferatu para o jogo novamente.

Além disso, irei lançar nos primeiros meses uma atualização do Packet nosferatu, que não é atualizado desde 2009.

Goals:

General:

  • Update, Unity, and Speed. These three words represent the work I intend to develop with my team. Updating the genre, plots, and staff; uniting all players, teams, and chronicles; and finally, quick decision-making.
  • I will work on creating a kind of weekly newspaper that will have various information about the OWBN scenario. This newspaper will be similar to what runs in the Toreador clan. Players can "pay" to have certain information circulate or not circulate.

Administrative

  • Nosferatu Team - If they fit, I will keep the current Nosferatu team. I plan to hire new Sub Coords for Brazil as quickly as possible. Members of the Nosferatu team cannot have active characters within the Nosferatu genre.

Clan Packet

  • It has been years since the packet was developed; I intend to change that as quickly as possible by calling STs and players to contribute.
  • I plan to divide the packet into 3 parts.
  • 1st) The new packet will tell the updated story of the Clan, mainly with the changes that have occurred within OWBN. It will be a foundation for new players and STs. (binding)
  • 2nd) The new packet will include information about Nosferatu Clan knowledge (Clan, Warren, Shrek Net), Clan Prestige, Warren (Add-ons). (binding)
  • 3rd) The new packet will contain updated mechanics, including updates to qualities, combos, possible new mechanics, and new suggestions for storytellers and players. (non-binding).
  • The Nosferatu Team will provide constant assistance to all chronicles. The Nosferatu genre needs careful attention, and we will offer all necessary support for plot creation, characters (PCs and NPCs).
  • The Nosferatu Team will work on constant communication migration, aiming to bring the most significant information, plots, and announcements to the official Nosferatu Clan DISCORD.
  • The Nosferatu Team will work to integrate the genre while maintaining the peculiarities of each region.

Org Plots:

  • Unification of the Nosferatu genre
  • Development of plots exclusively for the Nosferatu Clan, reinforcing the genre and creating opportunities for development and roleplay. This includes Clan challenges, the creation of a newspaper with updates from chronicles around the organization, among other innovations.
  • Adaptation of the Brazilian Nosferatu genre to the OWBN Nosferatu genre.

General:

  • Atualização, União e Rapidez. Essas três palavras são pequenas representações do trabalho que pretendo desenvolver com meu time. Atualização do gênero, plots e staff, união entre todos jogadores, times e crônicas e finalmente rapidez na tomada de decisões.
  • Irei trabalhar na criação de uma espécie de Jornal semanal onde terá diversas informações do cenário da OWBN. Esse Jornal será semelhante ao que roda no clã Toreador. Os jogadores poderão “pagar” para que uma determinada informação circule ou para que não circule.

Administrativa

  • Time Nosferatu – Caso se enquadrem, irei manter o time Nosferatu atual. Pretendo o mais rápido possível contratar novos Sub Coord para o Brasil. Membros do time Nosferatu não podem ter personagens ativos dentro do gênero Nosferatu.

Pacote dos Clã

  • Faz anos que o pacote não é desenvolvido, pretendo mudar isso o mais rápido possível chamando ST´s e jogadores para contribuir.
  • Pretendo dividir o pacote em 3 partes.
  • 1º) O novo pacote vai contar a história do Clã atualizada, principalmente com as mudanças ocorridas dentro do OWBN, ele vai ser uma base para novos jogadores e STS. (biding)
  • 2º) O novo pacote vai contar com informações sobre conhecimentos do Clã Nosferatu (Clã, Warren, Shrek Net), Prestígio do Clã, Warren (Add-ons). (binding)
  • 3º) O novo pacote irá conter mecânicas atualizadas, nele vai conter atualização das qualidades, combos, possíveis novas mecânicas e novas sugestões para narradores e jogadores. (não binding).
  • O Time Nosferatu vai prestar auxílio constante para todas as crônicas. O gênero Nosferatu precisa de bastante cuidado e vamos prestar todo suporte necessário para criação de plots, personagens (PCs e NPCs)
  • O Time Nosferatu vai trabalhar na migração constante do meio de comunicação, buscando levar as grandes e maiores informações, plots e anúncios para o DISCORD oficial do Clã Nosferatu.
  • O Time Nosferatu vai trabalhar para integralizar o gênero, mantendo as particularidades de cada região.

  • Desenvolvimentos de plots unicamente para o Clã Nosferatu, como forma de reforçar o gênero e criar oportunidades de desenvolvimento e roleplay. Seja gincanas do Clã, criação de um jornal com novidades do que acontece nas crônicas ao redor do org entre outras novidades
  • Adequação do gênero Nosferatu Brasileiro para o gênero Nosferatu OWBN.
