2024 - Demon - Brienne Frost
Introduction and Background:
Hello! My name is Brienne, though most people go ahead and call me Bri. I have been playing regularly in OWBN since 2019, having played primarily in Duluth: Thicker Than Blood, Twin Cities: Obsidian Towers and TCGarou: The Last Stand, with visits to numerous discord and live games in the Minnesota/North Dakota region as available. Prior to that I was a regular player in TGN since 2007, and was the Head Storyteller of the TCGarou: TLS Chronicle when we initiated the process of crossing from TGN to OWBN.
Outside of LARP, I am a Team Lead working in a tech support call center for an international company, where my primary role is providing assistance to my team in handling escalations while also managing an inbox for professional interdepartmental communications. I am fortunate to have a job that affords me the ability to work from home, meaning that I have constant access to email accounts related to OWBN allowing for quick responses to any email matters that arise. I have a 12 year old daughter who we are raising to be a Gamer-Child, and hope to welcome her into the OWBN community when she is old enough to engage in World of Darkness material with maturity and safety.

Olá! Meu nome é Brienne, embora a maioria das pessoas vá em frente e me chame de Bri. Tenho jogado regularmente no OWBN desde 2019, tendo jogado principalmente em Duluth: Thicker Than Blood, Twin Cities: Obsidian Towers e TCGarou: The Last Stand, com visitas a vários discord e jogos ao vivo na região de Minnesota/Dakota do Norte, conforme disponíveis. Tenho a sorte de ter um emprego que me permite trabalhar em casa, o que significa que tenho acesso constante a contas de e-mail relacionadas ao OWBN, permitindo respostas rápidas a quaisquer questões de e-mail que surjam. Tenho uma filha de 12 anos que estamos criando para ser uma criança-gamer e espero recebê-la na comunidade OWBN quando ela tiver idade suficiente para se envolver no material do Mundo das Trevas com maturidade e segurança.
Administrative Experience:
I have served as a Storyteller of the Twin Cities Garou: The Last Stand chronicle three times, and for one of those tenures I held the responsibility of Head Storyteller. I am currently a Storyteller for Duluth: Thicker Than Blood. I have never held a OWBN Coord Position before, but have served in similar positions in my previous Org TGN (The Garou Nation), where I served as Silent Strider Tribal Moderator for 2 years, Fianna Tribal Moderator for one year, and Glasswalker Tribal Moderator for one year. At the time, TGN had a much more extensive player base of Garou PCs than OWBN does today, so each tribe needed their own 'Coord' to handle the workload of the national player base. Beyond that, as mentioned above, my profession is highly focused on customer service and administration, handling complex and urgent digital communications on a day to day basis while ensuring that tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner. I pride myself on bringing a level of organization to the teams I work with, ensuring streamlined communications to better ensure timely responses to all emails and other communications.

Eu servi como Narrador da crônica Garou das Cidades Gêmeas: O Confronto Final três vezes, e por um desses mandatos eu assumi a responsabilidade de Narrador Chefe. Atualmente sou contador de histórias de Duluth: Thicker Than Blood. Nunca ocupei uma posição de coordenador da OWBN antes, mas atuei em posições semelhantes em minha anterior Org TGN (The Garou Nation), onde atuei como moderador tribal Silent Strider por 2 anos, moderador tribal Fianna por um ano e moderador tribal Glasswalker por um ano. Na época, a TGN tinha uma base de jogadores Garou muito mais extensa do que a OWBN tem hoje, então cada tribo precisava de seu próprio 'Coord' para lidar com a carga de trabalho da base de jogadores nacional. Personal Statement:
In the last few years, OWBN has become an org and community that I care about deeply. LARP has always been a passion for me, something that I have greatly enjoyed in all facets of interaction - both playing and running. OWBN may have flaws, but all orgs do - and I believe that there is a lot of good that the org is capable of. I have always been a strong believer in giving back to my LARP community in any way that I can, and I always really enjoyed the Tribal Moderator roles in TGN when I held them. These positions allowed me to further expand my network of connections and build friendships on an org-wide level, allowing me to both connect with the greater org as a whole while also giving me the opportunity to share fun and story with a larger group of players.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a passion and fascination for the Demon: The Fallen genre, along with the ancillary genres connected to Infernalism as a whole. These stories can be truly powerful things when run well, and I have deeply enjoyed every opportunity I've had in the past to dive into that sort of world building. Part of this comes from my own background in my personal hobbies of studying Demonology and the Occult, having taught online classes and seminars on the subjects in the past to share my passions and interests. I want to use that passion to fuel my work for the org, and I hope that my own excitement and love of the genre and all that entails will show through the work I hope to do in service to the org if elected to this position.
Personal Statement (Portuguese):
Nos últimos anos, a OWBN tornou-se uma organização e comunidade com a qual me preocupo profundamente. LARP sempre foi uma paixão para mim, algo que gostei muito em todas as facetas da interação – tanto jogando quanto correndo. O OWBN pode ter falhas, mas todas as organizações têm - e acredito que a organização é capaz de fazer muitas coisas boas. Sempre acreditei firmemente em retribuir à minha comunidade LARP de todas as maneiras que posso, e sempre gostei muito dos papéis de Moderador Tribal no TGN quando os ocupei. Essas posições me permitiram expandir ainda mais minha rede de conexões e construir amizades em toda a organização, permitindo-me conectar-me com a organização como um todo, ao mesmo tempo que me deu a oportunidade de compartilhar diversão e histórias com um grupo maior de jogadores.
Quem me conhece bem sabe que tenho paixão e fascínio pelo gênero Demon: The Fallen, junto com os gêneros auxiliares ligados ao Infernalismo como um todo. Essas histórias podem ser coisas verdadeiramente poderosas quando bem conduzidas, e aproveitei profundamente todas as oportunidades que tive no passado de mergulhar nesse tipo de construção de mundo. Parte disso vem de minha própria experiência em meus hobbies pessoais de estudar Demonologia e Ocultismo, tendo ministrado aulas e seminários on-line sobre os assuntos no passado para compartilhar minhas paixões e interesses. Quero usar essa paixão para alimentar meu trabalho para a organização e espero que meu próprio entusiasmo e amor pelo gênero e tudo o que isso implica se manifestem através do trabalho que espero realizar a serviço da organização, se for eleito para esta posição.
Goals:
My primary goals are straightforward.
- Continue/Resolve any ongoing plots continuing over from the tenure of the previous Demon Coord, if any exist.
- Respond to all emails and communications asking for the Demon Coord within 48 hours.
- Ensure that relevant packets are up to date and reflect the current state of OWBN.
- Ensure that the genres under the office of Demon Coord are properly regulated and maintained.
On a broader level, I want to be available as a resource and sounding board for all games and players to turn to for advice or help with any plots or personal stories involving the genre under this Coord's responsibility. The genre of Demon: The Fallen and its connected sub-genres can provide amazing story opportunity - everything from world ending threats that have been seen from the genre in OWBN's past, to game-level antagonists/challenges/story beats, all the way to personal, more intimate character-level drama and story progression. I think that the world of Demonology in the World of Darkness can be a truly fascinating genre to dive into, but it can be intimidating for many genres and storytelling STaffs to approach and integrate into their existing games. I want to be a resource for them to turn to to help them tell those stories if they choose to, while also helping all players connected to that genre engage with my office to experience fulfilling personal stories of their own.

- Continuar/Resolver quaisquer tramas em andamento desde o mandato da Coord Demoníaca anterior, se houver.
- Responda a todos os e-mails e comunicações solicitando o Demon Coord dentro de 48 horas.
- Certifique-se de que os pacotes relevantes estejam atualizados e reflitam o estado atual do OWBN.
- Certifique-se de que os gêneros sob o cargo de Demon Coord sejam devidamente regulamentados e mantidos.

Quero ser um recurso a quem eles possam recorrer para ajudá-los a contar essas histórias, se quiserem, ao mesmo tempo que ajudo todos os jogadores conectados a esse gênero a se envolverem com meu escritório para vivenciar suas próprias histórias pessoais gratificantes.
