[PROPOSAL][COORD BYLAWS] Adding changeling to list of elected genre coords

 

Would like to propose a change to our list of elected positions.

 

Currently, changeling is an appointed genre position.

 

We would like to move to have it become an elected position.

 

Removing changeling from

Coordinator 2.A.i

 

Adding it to

Coordinator 1.B.vii

 

As part of this proposal, cnmr also includes that Eric (the current changleing coord) remains the Changeling coord despite the change in this bylaw until the end of his term or resignation as normal.  IE. It is not our intention to force a special election, just make it an elected position in 2018 normal elections.

 

 

Justification.

 

In Eric's tenure he has been able to cultivate not only interest in changeling genre but also increased the number of changeling games and changing mixed genre throughout owbn.  There have been (and plans for more) not only changeling appearance at event games, but event games of their own.  As well as 2 years of various national changeling plot.

 

It is our opinion that Eric has grown the genre to at least equal owbn's other "smaller" genres such as mage or wraith and should join them in "elected position" status.
