Carbondale, IL, USA: Forgotten Court | For | The voices in my head command me to vote in favor, along with threats of bodily harm from Amity, should I choose otherwise. |
New York City, NY - USA, Kings of New York | Abstain | has absolutely NOTHING to do with my game. |
Saint Paul, MN - USA, Obsidian Towers | For | Our Ventrue ST agrees with the packet. I have a small reservation about all Ventrue having to be part of the Directerate. All in all, I think that most is very good (like almost all). |
Berkeley, CA - USA, Wasting the Dawn | For | spanks Alan and Robbo both. |
Stockton, CA - USA, Stockton by Night | For
Milwaukee, WI - USA, Nocturnal Rapture | For
Tampa, FL - USA, Tampa Bay by Night | For | While it has the Regional Directorates, I did not see anything in the Genre Doc that stated that a directorate position was more powerful that a camarilla position as was intimated at one point on the list, so I'm good with it. |
Duluth, MN - USA, Thicker than Blood | For
Chicago, IL - USA, Dark Requiem | For | The packet seems to be what the Ventrue Players want. We can always change/update things later, if we find they work better. At least this gives players a structure to work with. |
Fredericksburg, VA - USA, Caine's Chosen: Liberty in Death | For
Indianapolis, IN - USA, Stars Never Rise | For
Winona, MN - USA, Winona Dark Haven | For
Norwalk, CT - USA, Rails of Revolution | Against
San Francisco, CA - USA, Always Comes Evening | For | fetchez la vache. |
Providence, RI - USA, Hidden Flame | Against | The Directorate structure is my only beef with the packet. |
Fargo, ND - USA, Within Shadow's Reach | Against | If the players want the Regional directorates, thats fine, but as I said in my original post, I think this should be left to IC Politics, not enforced by OOC Genre packets. If we pass this, and PC's later decide they no longer want Regional Directorates, they will have to force a change on the Genre packet Prior to tearing down the system. This means that what was once IC Roleplaying becomes OOC Mechanics. |
Cleveland, OH - USA, Carpe Noctum | Abstain | Having gotten no response from my Ventrue players I can only abstain. |
Columbus, OH - USA, Columbus in Darkness | For
Springfield, IL - USA, Capitol City Cauldron | Abstain | Personally, I like it. But a few of our ventrue players disagree with it. For them I am abstaining rather than voting for it. |
Phoenix, AZ - USA, Secundus Surrectum | For
Kenosha, WI - USA, Memento Mori | For
Green Bay, WI - USA, Shattered Dreams | Abstain
Gimli, MB - Canada, Sang Nordique | For | So Amity won't hurt me terribly. |
Iowa City, IA - USA, L'Ange Noir | For | it looks good to me, nice reflection of how things are in OWBN at the moment for the ventrue |
Northern Virginia, VA - USA, Night Falls | For
Annapolis, MD - USA, Vitae Aeternus | For

Chronicle/Position Unknown | For | Genre packets define how the clan is run currently. As the clan changes, the Genre Packet can change with it - this is a simple mechanic. The Genre packet is to give new players an idea of how the clan works - this packet shows how Ventrue are run in OWbN. This was written with a lot input from many of the existing Ventrue players. The Directorate, as it is defined in this document, is what the majority of the players still want according to the on-going poll on the national Directorate Listserv. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | Against | I must agree with both EotR and Within Shadow's Reach. I feel that there are many things that are better handled with IC roleplay than OOC mechanics. Also, a number of the players in and local to my game are very opposed to the current clan structure. As it is, the local players and some STs that I know of have been trying to change the clan structure for quite a while without any success. Many of the players have been met with the brick wall of, ''its that way in the Genre packet.'' I would much rather see things move closer to the clanbook myself. |

Chronicle/Position Unknown | For | This all looks good. In fact, better than good. It looks excellent! |
