2024 - Tzimisce - Derek Howard
Introduction and Background:
Hello Everyone!
My name is Derek Howard and I am running to continue to be your Tzimisce Coordinator!
I have been in charge of the Cathedral of Flesh since 2010 and believe that I still have some time left in me. Hopefully, you all do too!
As for my org background, I have been a member of OWbN since the mid-1990s (Lordy, do I feel old saying that!). In that time I have served as HST of a few games and events, AST of several games and events, and a CM once or twice. I am currently an active AST for Chicago: Dark Requiem and an elusive AST for Kings of New York.
I have also served on Team Ventrue as a Subcoord for the last 20 years as well as been honored to be interim Camarilla, Sabbat, and Ventrue Coords a couple of times. I have additionally served on other Coordinator teams from time to time.
In the really real world, I am a former teacher who is now an educational technology trainer on the district level as well as a relatively new Dad! You may hear references to the Littlest Subcoord from time to time should I be reelected.
Overall, and I have said this before, I try very hard to be an approachable member of the org for all of our members no matter what.

Meu nome é Derek Howard e estou concorrendo para continuar a ser seu Coordenador Tzimisce!
Estou no comando da Catedral da Carne desde 2010 e acredito que ainda me resta algum tempo. Esperançosamente, todos vocês também!
Quanto à minha experiência organizacional, sou membro do OWbN desde meados da década de 1990 (Meu Deus, me sinto velho dizendo isso!). Nesse período atuei como HST de alguns jogos e eventos, AST de vários jogos e eventos, e CM uma ou duas vezes. Atualmente sou um AST ativo para Chicago: Dark Requiem e um AST indescritível para Kings of New York.
Eu também servi no Time Ventrue como Subcoord pelos últimos 20 anos e também tive a honra de ser interino da Camarilla, do Sabá e dos Ventrue Coords algumas vezes. Além disso, atuei em outras equipes de coordenadores de tempos em tempos.
No mundo real, sou um ex-professor que agora é formador de tecnologia educacional a nível distrital e também um pai relativamente novo! Você poderá ouvir referências ao Littlest Subcoord de vez em quando, caso eu seja reeleito!
No geral, e já disse isso antes, tento ao máximo ser um membro acessível da organização para todos os nossos membros, não importa o que aconteça.

- I am the current Tzimisce Coordinator and have been since 2010.
- I am a current ST for Chicago: Dark Requiem and Kings of New York

- I have served as interim Camarilla, Sabbat, and Ventrue Coordinator.

- I have served as an Event Storyteller for a number of OWbN events including Blood and Ice, Ecumenical Council, Grand Masquerade (NOLA event), Midwinter, Grand Elysium (Sabbat side), and other localized events.

Personal Statement:
I have been at this for a while now, and the players of OWbN never cease to amaze me.
The creative output of this org is always fascinating to see. Even when I disagree with a direction or action, I can always step back and see the creative spark behind them.
OWbN is going through some changes and it has been and will continue to be an interesting roller coaster. I am just happy to be along for the ride and contribute in any way you all will allow me to do so.
As a final note, I want to thank the players of Clan Tzimisce for putting so much faith in me over the years. The Tzimisce are an interesting genre, and some of the darker and weirder aspects require a level of trust and consent sets them apart from others.
I will always appreciate the trust the org has placed in me to serve as a custodian of this genre.

Já estou nisso há algum tempo e os jogadores do OWbN nunca param de me surpreender.
A produção criativa desta organização é sempre fascinante de ver. Mesmo quando discordo de uma direção ou ação, posso sempre dar um passo atrás e ver a centelha criativa por trás delas.
OWbN está passando por algumas mudanças e tem sido e continuará sendo uma montanha-russa interessante. Estou muito feliz por estar presente nesta viagem e contribuir de qualquer forma que todos me permitam fazê-lo.
Como nota final, quero agradecer aos jogadores do Clã Tzimisce por depositarem tanta fé em mim ao longo dos anos. Os Tzimisce são um gênero interessante, e alguns dos aspectos mais sombrios e estranhos exigem um nível de confiança e consentimento que os diferencia dos outros.
Sempre apreciarei a confiança que a organização depositou em mim para servir como guardião deste gênero.
Goals:
Packet: Real Talk. I have been struggling with the packet update. It was basically done, but when I went back for review I kept finding things that bothered me. With the incorporation of V20 org-wide, I have been struggling with how to implement some of the newer items. That is on me and my hill to climb. I will get a new packet out in the next couple of months, but please bear with me.
Clan Genre/Plot: I am working on creating a mini-event for the Clan that will focus on the Tzimisce but also allow for Tzimisce adjacent role play. Stay tuned!
Also, after YEARS of being the “Coords should not run plots” Coord, I recognize the changing landscape and am working on a plot that will hopefully generate some fun for all players.
Rare and Unusual/Approval Items: I will be updating the Tzimisce-centric bylaws to reflect changes in the org as well as some loopholes created by new publications and insight.
Response Time: I believe my response time has improved, but I am still working on a more efficient way to get players and STs what they need while maintaining the genre.
And I have said this before but I will say it again:

Velya: Velya hates everyone. Always and forever.

Goals (Portuguese):
Pacote: Conversa Real. Tenho lutado com a atualização do pacote. Basicamente estava feito, mas quando voltei para revisão continuei encontrando coisas que me incomodavam. Com a incorporação do V20 em toda a organização, tenho lutado para saber como implementar alguns dos itens mais recentes. Isso cabe a mim e à minha colina escalar. Vou lançar um novo pacote nos próximos meses, mas por favor, tenha paciência comigo.
Gênero/Enredo do Clã: Estou trabalhando na criação de um minievento para o Clã que se concentrará nos Tzimisce, mas também permitirá a dramatização adjacente dos Tzimisce. Fique atento!
Além disso, depois de ANOS sendo o Coord “Coords não devem executar enredos”, reconheço a mudança do cenário e estou trabalhando em um enredo que, esperançosamente, gerará alguma diversão para todos os jogadores.
Itens Raros e Incomuns/Aprovação: Estarei atualizando os estatutos centrados em Tzimisce para refletir as mudanças na organização, bem como algumas brechas criadas por novas publicações e insights.
Tempo de resposta: Acredito que meu tempo de resposta melhorou, mas ainda estou trabalhando em uma maneira mais eficiente de fornecer aos jogadores e STs o que precisam, mantendo o gênero.
