2022 - Tremere - Lauren Colombo
Introduction and Background:
Hello fellow One World by Night participants! I am the current Tremere Coordinator, and am running for re-election.
I have been an active participant in One World by Night since 2010, where I have served in multiple staff roles and run the event game of Kublacon multiple times. I’ll keep this short as my background before my time as Tremere Coordinator has not changed!

Olá colegas participantes do One World by Night! Eu sou o atual Coordenador do Tremere e estou concorrendo à reeleição.
Tenho participado ativamente do One World by Night desde 2010, onde desempenhei várias funções na equipe e administrei o jogo do evento Kublacon várias vezes. Vou manter isso curto, pois meu histórico antes que meu tempo como Coordenador Tremere não tenha mudado!

Personal Statement:
I can honestly say that I still love the Tremere and Gargoyle genres, and probably even more so after serving in this role for the past two years. I have learned A LOT to say the least, and there have certainly been some bumps along the way.
One major thing I have learned and have taken away from term one is to listen, and to understand the variability between the regions.
I have kept my Team’s response times to typically 72 hours, with some exceptions. I have also been working to streamline the way we receive emails/requests to ensure things are not missed. If my team members are unable to accommodate or can not respond to requests in a timely fashion, I have stepped in to ensure things do not go unanswered.
I’ve also created a discord server for the Tremere Pyramid, the Gargoyles, and the Telyavelic Tremere for better interaction between the players and my team.
In order to better serve all of our players, I have been requiring that messages on our email lists be sent in both English and Portuguese. I admit the process and system isn’t perfect, but we are working on normalizing translating all correspondence.
I feel I have completed the majority of my goals from being elected in 2020, despite huge shifts in my everyday life beyond Covid. Things I would like to note that my team and Ihave completed to date:

- Updated Arcane Compendium
My team and I have also been pushing to be more open minded and supportive of all types of players, and to push aside the out of character bullying and ideology of the “Old Boys Club.” I was clear in my application that this was a main goal of mine, and overall we have started that process fairly successfully.
I will say the only thing in my previous application as Coordinator that is not yet completed is the updated Tremere House Packet, which is currently under review with the Documents Team. It will be ready to prop to Council after elections. I’m very proud of the work that my team and the Tremere players of OWBN have put into this packet, and the building blocks to adjust to the updates to Houses. It will certainly streamline the Houses administratively for Team Tremere, and will provide more structure/support for players.
Personal Statement (Portuguese):
Posso dizer honestamente que ainda amo os gêneros Tremere e Gargoyle, e provavelmente ainda mais depois de servir neste papel nos últimos dois anos. Eu aprendi MUITO, para dizer o mínimo, e certamente houve alguns obstáculos ao longo do caminho.
Uma coisa importante que aprendi e tirei do primeiro termo é ouvir e entender a variabilidade entre as regiões.
Mantive os tempos de resposta da minha equipe normalmente em 72 horas, com algumas exceções. Também tenho trabalhado para simplificar a maneira como recebemos e-mails/solicitações para garantir que nada seja perdido. Se os membros da minha equipe não puderem acomodar ou não puderem responder às solicitações em tempo hábil, intervim para garantir que as coisas não fiquem sem resposta.
Também criei um servidor de discórdia para a Pirâmide Tremere, as Gárgulas e o Tremere Telyavelic para melhor interação entre os jogadores e minha equipe.
Para melhor atender a todos os nossos jogadores, venho exigindo que as mensagens em nossas listas de e-mail sejam enviadas em inglês e português. Admito que o processo e o sistema não são perfeitos, mas estamos trabalhando na normalização da tradução de todas as correspondências.
Sinto que completei a maioria dos meus objetivos desde a eleição em 2020, apesar das enormes mudanças na minha vida cotidiana além do Covid. Coisas que eu gostaria de observar que minha equipe e eu concluímos até o momento:
- Gargoyle Packet (iniciado por meus antecessores)
- Pacote de Tremere Telyavelic
- Pacote de Gêneros Tremere
- Compêndio Arcano Atualizado
Minha equipe e eu também temos nos esforçado para ter uma mente mais aberta e apoiar todos os tipos de jogadores, e deixar de lado o bullying e a ideologia do “Old Boys Club”. Deixei claro em minha inscrição que esse era um objetivo meu e, no geral, iniciamos esse processo com bastante sucesso.
Eu direi que a única coisa em minha inscrição anterior como Coordenador que ainda não foi concluída é o Pacote da Casa Tremere atualizado, que está atualmente sob revisão com a Equipe de Documentos. Estará pronto para apoiar o Conselho após as eleições. Estou muito orgulhoso do trabalho que minha equipe e os jogadores Tremere do OWBN colocaram neste pacote, e os blocos de construção para ajustar as atualizações das Casas. Certamente irá agilizar administrativamente as Casas para a Equipe Tremere, e fornecerá mais estrutura/suporte para os jogadores.
Goals:
Some of my goals will remain the same: Promoting positive roleplay, dismantling out of character prejudice, and being overall more inclusive.
Current goals for this term will be:
- Complete and put to council the updated Tremere House Packet
- Solidifying the changes made to the genre in 2020-2022
- Building up the new Houses
- Continuing to streamline the office
- Encouraging and promoting more roleplay/interaction between the North American and South American players
- Plot/story options for Gargoyle genre and for Telyavelic genre
The main goal I have at this point is to ensure the plots already started are continuing to be supported, and the changes we have made to the genre are also properly supported. We have made quite a few large adjustments, and I feel it is best to keep continuity. The team is working on creating proper lists for ensuring better continuity when we do have a change in Coordinator staff, or a new SubCoordinator joining the team.
Our main goal is to ensure the Sts and Players feel supported by their Coordinator Team. This means keeping to the same turn around time we have held for the past 2 years, being available to talk to players or STs, and encouraging interaction and equality between our USA players and Brazil players. All of our lists require that the messages be sent in English and Portuguese for inclusivity. Our Brazilian players are just as important as our USA/Canadian players, and the best way to ensure this is equal availability of my and my teams’ time.
So, to be honest, I plan to keep doing exactly what I have been doing since 2020. Even with the pandemic and several real life situations occurring, I have managed to keep on top of all of my Tremere Coordinator duties without any major slip ups. I have encouraged and will continue to encourage transparency of the work my team is doing, without jeopardizing the trust of our participants.
Our biggest push right after elections will be to hire new SubCoordinators to support our genres.
Goals (Portuguese):
Alguns dos meus objetivos permanecerão os mesmos: promover uma interpretação positiva, desmantelar o preconceito de caráter e ser mais inclusivo em geral.
As metas atuais para este mandato serão:
- Complete e coloque em conselho o Pacote da Casa Tremere atualizado
- Solidificando as mudanças feitas no gênero em 2020-2022
- Construindo as novas casas
- Continuando a agilizar o escritório
- Incentivando e promovendo mais roleplay/interação entre os jogadores norte-americanos e sul-americanos
- Opções de enredo/história para o gênero Gargoyle e para o gênero Telyavelic
O principal objetivo que tenho neste momento é garantir que os enredos já iniciados continuem sendo suportados, e as mudanças que fizemos no gênero também sejam devidamente suportadas. Fizemos alguns ajustes grandes e acho que é melhor manter a continuidade. A equipe está trabalhando na criação de listas adequadas para garantir uma melhor continuidade quando houver uma mudança na equipe do Coordenador ou um novo Subcoordenador se juntando à equipe.
Nosso principal objetivo é garantir que os Sts e os jogadores se sintam apoiados por sua equipe de coordenadores. Isso significa manter o mesmo tempo de virada que realizamos nos últimos 2 anos, estar disponível para conversar com jogadores ou STs e incentivar a interação e a igualdade entre nossos jogadores dos EUA e os jogadores do Brasil. Todas as nossas listas exigem que as mensagens sejam enviadas em inglês e português para inclusão. Nossos jogadores brasileiros são tão importantes quanto nossos jogadores dos EUA/Canadá, e a melhor maneira de garantir isso é a disponibilidade igual do meu tempo e do meu time.
Então, para ser honesto, pretendo continuar fazendo exatamente o que tenho feito desde 2020. Mesmo com a pandemia e várias situações da vida real ocorrendo, consegui manter todas as minhas funções de Coordenador Tremere sem grandes deslizes. . Incentivei e continuarei incentivando a transparência do trabalho que minha equipe está realizando, sem comprometer a confiança de nossos participantes.
Nosso maior impulso logo após as eleições será contratar novos subcoordenadores para apoiar nossos gêneros.
