Introduction and Background:

My name is Paul Reynolds and some of you know me as the ginger in a kilt. Others may know me as the player of Raguel or Cyric DeGeorge. I am a happily married man who spends most of his time working for the Post Office as a Mailman.  Some of you have had the pleasure of listening to me on my route on Discord Voice Chats in the last year.

At age 18, I walked into my first World of Darkness setting at a Live Action Role Play, handed a book, and told to figure out how to make my own character.  It wasn't the best.  A Brujah with no strength traits, and all celerity traits, named Paul was an awkward start.  That was 2004.  In 2006, I ran my first LARP troupe game.  We will leave it at that.  Luckily, both I and the World of Darkness have evolved.  Nine years after my hapless Brujah first walked in, I committed to my first OWBN game in 2012.  I have been an active storyteller for Rebellion in the Shadows (RITS) for over a year now, but I will never forget my beginnings into the World of Darkness.

Meu nome é Paul Reynolds e alguns de vocês me conhecem como o ruivo de kilt. Outros podem me conhecer como o jogador de Raguel ou Cyric DeGeorge. Sou um homem casado e feliz que passa a maior parte do tempo trabalhando nos Correios como carteiro. Alguns de vocês tiveram o prazer de me ouvir em minha rota no Discord Voice Chats no ano passado.

Aos 18 anos, entrei em meu primeiro cenário de Mundo das Trevas em um Role Play Live Action, entreguei um livro e disse para descobrir como fazer meu próprio personagem. Não foi o melhor. Um Brujah sem traços de força e todos os traços de celeridade, chamado Paul foi um começo estranho. Isso foi em 2004. Em 2006, dirigi meu primeiro jogo da trupe LARP. Vamos deixar por isso mesmo. Felizmente, eu e o Mundo das Trevas evoluímos. Nove anos depois que meu infeliz Brujah apareceu pela primeira vez, eu me comprometi com meu primeiro jogo da OWBN em 2012. Tenho sido um contador de histórias ativo para Rebellion in the Shadows (RITS) por mais de um ano, mas nunca esquecerei meu início no mundo da escuridão.

Administrative Experience:

I have held a multitude of leadership roles, the most obvious of them being:

  • Six years working for Anime Central (ACEN) as a ADH (Assistant Department Head) of Panel Programming (2012-2020)
  • HST of Rebellion in the Shadows and have maintained the database (2019-Current)
  • In charge of training new Mail Carriers at USPS (2016-2018)

Eu tive uma infinidade de funções de liderança, sendo a mais óbvia delas:

  • Seis anos trabalhando para Anime Central (ACEN) como ADH (Chefe de Departamento Assistente) de Programação de Painel (2012-2020)
  • HST de Rebellion in the Shadows e tem mantido o banco de dados (2019-Atual)
  • Encarregado de treinar novos transportadores de correio na USPS (2016-2018)

Personal Statement:

To start, I would like to state that I only have a year compared to the other coordinators that were elected in earlier this February.  However, I would like to see the Salubri flourish and grow beyond what it currently is. I have a passion for the clan, the lore, storytellers, coordinators, and the players who have helped interpret the books, but also what has been created by the org. I have been a player of the Salubri, Raguel, nearly since I joined the org 7 years ago.  I have also helped push a network for players, using discord, to be formed for those of the clan to connect and communicate. My continued love for the Salubri genre extended  to ensure that there were no more missed clan events.  So I spread word about it to gauge interest and found a way to set up an online group of players to participate in "The Call" via email by working with the previous Salubri Coordinator as a player.  While it will be sad to have to take a step back from my character goals, I am willing to set aside my own Personal Character for the betterment of the Salubri genre and OWBN as a whole.

Para começar, gostaria de informar que tenho apenas um ano em comparação com os demais coordenadores eleitos no início de fevereiro. No entanto, gostaria de ver o Salubri florescer e crescer além do que é atualmente. Tenho paixão pelo clã, pelo folclore, pelos contadores de histórias, coordenadores e pelos jogadores que ajudaram a interpretar os livros, mas também pelo que foi criado pela organização. Sou jogador do Salubri, Raguel, quase desde que entrei na organização, há 7 anos. Eu também ajudei a impulsionar uma rede para jogadores, usando discórdia, a ser formada para aqueles do clã se conectarem e se comunicarem. Meu amor contínuo pelo gênero Salubri se estendeu para garantir que não houvesse mais eventos de clã perdidos. Então, espalhei a notícia sobre isso para avaliar o interesse e descobri uma maneira de criar um grupo online de jogadores para participar de "The Call" por e-mail, trabalhando com o Coordenador Salubri anterior como jogador. Embora seja triste ter que dar um passo para trás em relação aos objetivos do meu personagem, estou disposto a deixar de lado meu próprio Caráter Pessoal para o aprimoramento do gênero Salubri e da OWBN como um todo.

Goals:

I am very ambitious, but I believe that with a great team, I can accomplish the following:

  • Communicating with the current team to discuss who is willing to remain as a subcoord to assist in the genre
  • Making the clan more available to those that wish to play by being open to new PC concepts
  • Rewriting the clan packet with updates to V20, lore, clear conversions from MET, and adjustment of bylaw restrictions
  • Taking a more active role on connecting Salubri players so that they have the ability to roleplay with others of the clan
  • An increase in clan events that have been absent in years of late

Goals (Portuguese):

Sou muito ambicioso, mas acredito que com uma grande equipe posso realizar o seguinte:

  • Comunicar-se com a equipe atual para discutir quem está disposto a permanecer como subcoord para ajudar no gênero
  • Tornando o clã mais disponível para aqueles que desejam jogar, estando aberto a novos conceitos de PC
  • Reescrever o pacote do clã com atualizações para V20, conhecimento, conversões claras do MET e ajuste das restrições do estatuto
  • Assumir um papel mais ativo na conexão dos jogadores Salubri para que eles tenham a capacidade de interpretar com outros do clã
  • Um aumento nos eventos do clã que estiveram ausentes nos últimos anos
