MET Mechanics:
An Assassin kills quickly and quietly and disappears into the night. The vampire of the modern nights have proven themselves to be formidable foes, skilled in the resilient arts learned from the clan of Kings and the Beasts. As the prey adapts, so too much the predator. Understanding an enemy is the first step to defeating it and those Assassins who have accquired resiliency understand all too well the protracted struggle demanded to fell one so bent on survival. It is this knowledge that fuels such a frightening display of the Assassin's blood.

System:

Using Bite of the Assassin's Blade works much like Baal's Caress and Scorpion's Touch. The Assassin converts his blood to a black, sticky, ichor that is then coated on to his blades. When the blade strikes it's target, the ichor flows into the wound and onto the victim's skin. Seemingly harmless, if the target then activates Aegis she loses a number of temporary physical traits equal to the amount of damage received during combat by this effect (after expending the willpower or physical traits needed to activate Aegis).

All damage must come from a strike of a weapon coated in this effect. Striking a target with said weapon once and then proceeding to strike them with a weapon not so effected would only remove a number of physical traits equal to the damage caused by the coating weapon's strike. Example: If an Assamite coats his blade with one trait of blood converted by this effect and uses that blade to strike the enemy three times for two lethal a hit, the target would lose two additional physical traits when activating Aegis. If the Assamite coats his blade several times, uses the blade to strike the target once and then strikes the target with a different weapon for two lethal a hit, the target would only lose two additional physical traits when activating Aegis. If the same weapon is used to hit the target three times (assuming three traits of blood) for six damage total, the target would lose six additional physical traits when activating Aegis.

Coating the weapon works exactly like Baal's Caress and Scorpion's Touch. The Assassin must use a trait of blood for each instance of the effect on the blade (up to the number of traits on the weapon).  This effect can not be stacked with Baal's Caress or Scorpion's Touch. The ichor remains in the target's system for the scene or an hour. Expending Aegis at any time while the ichor is still active will immediately remove a number of physical traits equal to damage dealt.
