[PROPOSAL] Thaumaturgical Countermagic

Persuant to Coordinator Bylaw 3.C.iii. "Genre Coordinators must pass before Council any plot, enforced policy, R&U named characters, or binding edict they wish to use which they can reasonably expect to affect multiple chronicles and these proposals need not be seconded, but go immediately into discussion," the following proposal is being submitted by Alex Rushing, Tremere Coordinator.

The following will be added to the Character Regulation Bylaws:

7.A.ii.1. Thaumaturgical Countermagic: While Thaumaturgical Countermagic is not inherently a path of Blood Magic, it is considered Blood Magic for the purpose of administration.

and

8.B.i.2. "The administration of Thaumaturgical Countermagic falls under the responsibility of the Tremere Coordinator."

Due to the number of reports I have received in which people are claiming that Thaumaturgical Countermagic was de-regulated, I will not be allowing the grandfathering of approval for this power. Instead, I will be approving all members of the Astors and the one non-Astor who possesses Thaumaturgical Countermagic immediately after this passes. In effect, anyone who obtained Thaumaturgical Countermagic in the appropriate manner will not be penalized through this proposal.
