Supernatural Possessed Defined as RARE

As the Changing Breeds Coordinator, I hereby propose that the following item be added to the Rare & Unusual list, where they will be placed into the category know as "Rare” with an approval procedure detailed below in place of grandfathering.

1) Supernatural Possessed

Due to the large number of complaints received by the Changing Breeds Coordinator office in relation to this issue, no grandfathering will be allowed. However, in lieu of grandfathering existing Player Characters, for one calendar month from the date this proposition takes effect, all currently active Player Characters falling under this R&U category change, will have that one month period of transition during which such Player Characters may seek joint Coordinator Approval from the Changing Breeds Coordinator and, if not a Changing Breeds character, the appropriate coordinator/coordinators for the character supernatural type (Clan and Sect Coordinators for vampire characters). Players with such Coordinator Approval shall be considered approved for play in OWBN and shall be notified to the Archivist by the Coordinators. Any Player Character that is denied this approval may remain in play, but must be proposed to a Council Vote under the new R&U category within two weeks of notification of denial by the approving Coordinators. If the character’s vote fails, the PC will not be considered approved for play in OWBN unless that which makes them R&U under this proposal is removed or they become an ST or Coordinator Controlled NPC with appropriate notification to Council.

4.D.1.viii. Extended Play Supernatural Possessed

1. Extended Play for the purposes of this bylaw is considered to be continued play beyond 6 months from the date the character comes to fall under one of these categories. A PC falling in this category must be propped for vote in a manner that lets the vote occur prior to the 6 month point or must be shelved from the 6 month point until the vote is completed.

2. Supernatural Possessed: Any supernatural entity (including Vampires, Dhampyrs, all Changing Breeds, Mages, Changelings, Imbued Hunters, Mummies, and Kuei-jin) possessed by a Triatic or Gaian Spirit, inhabited by a Triatic or Gaian Spirit or gaining Spirit-based powers, benefits, or taints in a manner consistent with being a Kami, Drone or Fomori. This category specifically does not include any creature defined elsewhere in the bylaws as Semi-Supernatural.

(a) Triatic Spirits are defined as Sprits of the Weaver, Wyld, or Wyrm.
