Personal Statement:

This Year's Goals:

::For all of the Malkavian players to have fun.

Yeah, it's what I said last year, and I have no reason to change that goal. If
I'm ensuring a /lack/ of fun for the org, then clearly I've lost the plot and
need to be put down.

Jenn and Jean-Christian will continue in their positions, presuming they hold
up their end of the workload ;o) I may, if I find the need, appoint more Sub-
Coordinators, but I'm not currently seeking any, thanx for asking. :o)

::To further integrate the Malkavian plotlines via Storyteller communication.

Over the last year or so, I created an e-list for Malkavian Sorytellers, which
saw some good traffic, yet it has dwindled in participation for whatever
reason. I'll be kicking this list back into high gear, working on subbing STs
from around the globe and seeing how they tick.

As per an earlier announcement to the ST and Council lists, this will be my
preferred method of communication with OWBN's representatives in terms of my
duties as Coordinator, and I will almost always shove conversation in that
direction.

Other Stuff I feel is worth saying....

::On Streamlining my Inbox

I will, at this point, formally ask Storytellers to require their players to
contact me through those STs, if they are contacting me in regards to game and
plot matters. Idle and speculative conversations are fine, but I would think
that after this many years in OWBN, people would be able to remember that they
need to go through their Storytellers to reach the Coordinators. Otherwise,
they can expect a short, terse form letter.

::On Time of Judgment Concerns

I cannot discuss many issues with the Time of Judgment productions from White
Wolf due to Non-disclosure agreements. Please don't ask, as refusal may offend.

In terms of the impact the ToJ might have on OWBN, well, we can either ignore
it, or take the opportunity in both hands and use it to our advantage. That
decision will come in due course. Personally, I think that the ToJ could be a
fantastic metaplot for the org. We need not use the canon plot(s) produced for
us; we are creative enough to work up our own End for the org's stories if we
so desire. Note: End of the org's /stories/, not the end of the /org/.

Many discussions have come and gone on a "hard reset" of OWBN, and ToJ might be
the opportunity we need. OWBN's ToJ need not be something that happens in 2004
(or even 2014!) but if it does happen it should not be a simple nod and vote,
poof, we're gone, let's scramble to come up with a new universe, kinda thing.
We should take the time to step back, re-examine our goals and purpose, perhaps
take the time to go over our internal systems and streamline, fix, etc.
whatever needs attention, and then restructure our games into a more coherent
whole (if that's what we want).

::On OWBN as an organization

The eclectic mix of bizarre and beautiful is part of the charm of OWBN. Each
game has its own personality, and, barring excesses of the ridiculous, all of
you bring something precious to the org - a driven creativity. Let's all be
driven to create something of lasting value to us all, while bearing in mind
our audience's mixed levels of tolerance.

Communication, compromise, courtesy. Respect given leads to respect earned.

At least, that's always worked for me!

Gaming Experience:

I have been involved in OWbN for 8 years now, mostly as a player. I have
played in Kenosha: Memento Mori for the full duration, and have also been
a regular at Milwaukee: Nocturnal Rapture for the past 5 years, Green Bay:
Shattered Dreams for the past 3 years, and Gary: Blood and Steel for the
past year.

As far as Malkavian-specific experience, I played juStin Griffin a.k.a. Sting
for seven years, and was very political and outspoken within the clan,
taking over the IC prestige system where Misque had left off.Adidas footwearTHE SNEAKER BULLETIN
