[Proposal][Bylaw] Addition of Geomancy

I, William Lee, as Ravnos Coord, propose the following changes to the Character Bylaws, this proposal has the potential to auto-pass, and will allow NO GRANDFATHERING (please read notes after this before auto objecting to no grandfathering)

 

Reasoning: Unregulated blood magic=bad. This is 1st edition, and from Hong Kong. Book reference: A World of Darkness.

 

Why Ravnos?

It is linked to Buddhism, which the closest magic to that is Sadhana. Until I get time to sit down and add it to the packet, it will simply use the Sadhana table, minus Sadhana specific paths. There are very few other clans that really touch into the far east (a little Salubri, the della Passagila, etc).

 

Why No Grandfathering?

I do believe people shouldn't lose what they've worked for. With that said, if a PC truly did work long and hard for an approval, they shouldn't mind spending 10 minutes explaining how awesome their RP experience is. If you did work hard, and kicked ass for it, I don't see any reason you shouldn't have it. If you cant produce any RP behind what you did, sorry, your friend the ST cant bylaw skim and find whats not regulated. (Sorry, I know tone is lost in email, but I know this happens). I believe people that work hard deserve things, and good RP should be rewarded.

 

The future!

I have been adding the groups from State of Grace one by one, to give more options for players to join the various groups. Odds are this will end up being thrown into a plot with one of them (examples being the Diamond Thunderbolt)
