2020 - Camarilla - Larry Petersen
Introduction and Background:
Hello, my name is Larry Petersen and I am running for position of Camarilla Coordinator for One World by Night. I’ve been playing Mind’s Eye Theater since 2000/2001, starting off in independent games and joined one world by night as a full time player in 2013.
I have been active in the community since I joined One World by Night, taking up various roles such as Council Member, Storyteller, Head Storyteller, Subcoordinator and even Coordinator. Despite all of its challenges, I have found an incredible community within One World and want to contribute to it and bring fulfilling experiences to it’s players.
I served as Giovanni Coordinator from 2016 to 2018, and had a great time helping to change the genre to make it something that players and storytellers alike could deeply enjoy. That same feeling has brought me back to run for another coordinator position: This time, Camarilla Coordinator.

Olá, meu nome é Larry Petersen e estou concorrendo ao cargo de Coordenador da Camarilla para o One World by Night. Eu jogo no Mind's Eye Theatre desde 2000/2001, iniciando em jogos independentes e ingressando em um mundo à noite como jogador em período integral em 2013.
Sou ativo na comunidade desde que entrei para o One World by Night, assumindo vários cargos, como Membro do Conselho, Narrador, Narrador Principal, Subcoordenador e até Coordenador. Apesar de todos os seus desafios, eu encontrei uma comunidade incrível no One World e quero contribuir com ela e trazer experiências gratificantes para seus jogadores.

Personal Statement:
When most players first step into the world of darkness, more often than not - It’s into the Camarilla. Personally, i played and storytold Camarilla exclusively for many years in a troupe environment, and OWBN Camarilla is really what brought me into the fold of One World.
As a coordinator, my goals are to make Camarilla an accessible genre while maintaining the look and feel brought forth in the books, utilizing both revised and v20 as sources. Camarilla has been on a great path for the last five years under Jeff, and i look forward to continue building on that incredibly solid foundation.

Quando a maioria dos jogadores entra no mundo das trevas, mais frequentemente do que não, é na Camarilla. Pessoalmente, eu joguei e contei a Camarilla exclusivamente por muitos anos em um ambiente de trupe, e a OWBN Camarilla foi realmente o que me levou ao redil do One World.
Como coordenador, meus objetivos são tornar a Camarilla um gênero acessível, mantendo a aparência dos livros, utilizando as fontes revisada e v20. A Camarilla está em um ótimo caminho nos últimos cinco anos sob Jeff, e estou ansioso para continuar construindo sobre essa base incrivelmente sólida.
Goals:
New “Faction / Secret Societies” packet - I’m looking for something structured ala the Sabbat Faction Packet. This has brought a lot of success to that genre, and working together with people i know are incredibly knowledgeable about Camarilla Genre, i feel that a similar document can bring a lot of value to players and storytellers alike.
Event Support - Camarilla events are the touchstones for the genre. It is here that sweeping decisions are made and dozens of players have the opportunity to stretch their political clout to international heights. This sort of empowerment is NECESSARY for the health of the genre, and I plan on having staff completely dedicated to ensuring that our major Camarilla Events have the support and guidance they need from the office.
Regional Support - Every region plays differently. What works for the Midwest might not work in the mid-atlantic. I plan on having regional subcoordinators empowered to assist both players and storytellers with their questions and help guide folks into a satisfying roleplaying and storytelling experience in regards to Camarilla Genre
New Justicars - A touchy subject, but by canon - new Justicars should have been elected in 2011. I plan fully on addressing the delay within our world and moving forward with new justicar selection during my term.
Communication - As i did during my term as Giovanni Coordinator, my team and I will maintain a 24 hour turn around to communications. Some situations might be more nuanced and require a bit more time, and we will be managing expectations in those situations, but for most issues - a 24 hour response is incredibly achievable.
One Stop Shopping - It is also my intention to bring items under the office that are required solely for the management of the genre. To this end, i will be working with the other clan coordinators to bring NPCs such as the Inner Circle and Justicars within sole control of the Camarillan Office. These NPCs can have huge roles within their clans as well, so it is my intention to allow those coordinators free reign in how they address clan issues with these characters. The other two sect offices within One World by Night operate in this manner, and it has allowed them to blossom and grow at an incredible rate. This also empowers this office to make decisions that make the best sense for Cam Genre.

Novo pacote "Faction / Secret Societies" - estou procurando algo estruturado no pacote Sabbat Faction. Isso trouxe muito sucesso a esse gênero, e, trabalhando em conjunto com pessoas que eu conheço são incrivelmente bem informadas sobre o gênero Camarilla, sinto que um documento semelhante pode trazer muito valor para jogadores e contadores de histórias.
Suporte a Eventos - Os eventos da Camarilla são a pedra de toque para o gênero. É aqui que são tomadas decisões abrangentes e dezenas de jogadores têm a oportunidade de estender sua influência política a alturas internacionais. Esse tipo de capacitação é NECESSÁRIO para a saúde do gênero, e pretendo contar com uma equipe totalmente dedicada a garantir que nossos principais Eventos da Camarilla tenham o apoio e a orientação de que precisam no escritório.
Suporte regional - Cada região é diferente. O que funciona para o Centro-Oeste pode não funcionar no meio do Atlântico. Eu planejo ter subcoordenadores regionais capacitados para ajudar jogadores e contadores de histórias com suas perguntas e ajudar a guiar as pessoas a uma experiência satisfatória de roleplaying e storytelling em relação ao gênero Camarilla
Novos Justicares - Um assunto delicado, mas por cânone - novos Justicars deveriam ter sido eleitos em 2011. Planejo abordar completamente o atraso em nosso mundo e avançar com a nova seleção de justicares durante meu mandato.
Comunicação - Como fiz durante meu mandato como Giovanni Coordinator, minha equipe e eu manteremos um turno de 24 horas nas comunicações. Algumas situações podem ter mais nuances e exigir um pouco mais de tempo, e gerenciaremos as expectativas nessas situações, mas para a maioria dos problemas - uma resposta de 24 horas é incrivelmente possível.
One Stop Shopping - Também é minha intenção trazer para o escritório itens necessários apenas para o gerenciamento do gênero. Para esse fim, trabalharei com os outros coordenadores de clãs para trazer NPCs como o Inner Circle e Justicars ao controle exclusivo do Gabinete Camarillan. Esses NPCs também podem ter papéis importantes em seus clãs, por isso é minha intenção permitir que esses coordenadores reinem livremente na maneira como lidam com questões de clãs com esses personagens. Os outros dois escritórios da seita no One World by Night operam dessa maneira, e isso lhes permitiu florescer e crescer a um ritmo incrível. Isso também capacita esse escritório a tomar decisões que fazem o melhor sentido para o Cam Genre.
