2017 - Tzimisce - Derek K. Howard
Introduction and Background:
Hello One World By Night!
Your friendly Tzimisce Coordinator is back for another round!
So, for those of you that I have not yet met, my name is Derek Howard and I am running to continue to be your Tzimisce Clan Coordinator.
I have been a part of OWbN since the late 1990s and have seen this organization go through a lot in my time. We have had some amazing up and some introspective downs in our day, and I have enjoyed the ride.
For those of you that do not know me personally, I am a former Early Childhood teacher that now works in Educational Technology in the really real world. I also try to be an all around nice guy and team player for OWbN.
I am also a noted defender of the power of Storytellers and see my position as a facilitator.

Personal Statement:
After all of this time, I would hope that the players and storytellers of OWbN known how much I care about Clan Tzimisce and the people that help make OWbN great. I have put over 20 years of my life into this organization, and I care about it deeply.
As Coordinators, we have a duty to the rest of the organization to help make games better. Sometimes this means telling people no in order to preserve the genre that we have been tasked with guarding. For the most part, however, we get to see the games come alive in their own individual way.
One of my favorite things to do as a Coordinator is getting to talk to players and hear about the amazing things that they are doing with their PCs.
Storytellers are gracious enough to let me peek behind the curtain and see what cool things they are doing in their games. I would not trade those experiences for anything.
I said this last year, but this organization has put a lot of faith in me over the years. I have met or exceeded expectations and I have failed you all. I just want to say thank you OWbN for 20 years of memories and stories.
